Viden offers very friendly and very responsive stuff. You have the feeling they are taking good care of you. Very good point of this rental service is that they can rent you a car with your debit card. Most of rental services in Athens ask for credit card (I had virtual credit card and was refused to rent a car in many rental services so I had no choice and had to call Viden) However, there is no fixed price list at Viden. I asked them for thier price list via mail and they adviced me to call them on the phone. So if you check their prices online, you are quite happy. When you come to the office you learn that the price online is for a manual gear box and you are going to get automatic gear box which is more expensive (I still do not know how much more they charge for the automatic gearbox). The price on the internet is with 100 km limit per day. I asked what is the difference in price and got no answer either. Finally I got a car. I accepted a junk car Hunday Matrix (which was last manufactured in 2013 and mine was obviously older and full od dents and scratches and I am sure no insurance company would allow a car of that age to be rented). Since I was pressed for time and they said they had no other car of that standard I accepted that. Of course the car broke down the next day. I called Viden. We were 100 km away from Athens. Nikos (the owner) arranged another car and we had to wait 4 hours. This was very fast so we did not argue about that although we had to give up on a few sights to see. We got a new car. This time it was clear that the car is from thier fleet. It was new, clean with no dents or other damages. The strange thing for me was when I wanted to return the car. They promised to call the day before to arrange the details of the drop off. They never called. The contract said 12:00 to 12:00. So I calIed them on the day of the drop off and tried to ask Nikos for extra 5 hours which we lost due to the fact that the junk car he rented us borke down but it seemed impossible to arrange. Finally, they are good people. Very friendly but before you arrange to go to the office ask for every detail of your rental. 1. Ask if your car is manual or automatic gear box. They charge more for automatic one. Still do not know much more. 2. Diesel is cheaper so try to rent a diesel car and ask if they are going to charge more. 3. Remember that the price online is with 100 km mileage limit. If you want umlimited they will charge you more. I still do not know how much more the unlimited option costs. 4. The price online does not include 15% tax.

Great local car rental company. Great variety of cars and minivans to rent. Very reasonable prices for a well maintained fleet of cars. Stuff is professional and friendly and location very convenient to reach by car or the underground. Highly recommended.!

Tried to rent a car and asked for credit card I pulled out the Wells Fargo credit and is not accepted because is not saying credit on it , so if you are American do not even try , they don’t have way to verify if your card is debit or credit,
