★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well equipped villa and well placed for exploring crete.lovely mountain views and quiet location, but 20mins to nearest beach and there are stairs up to the lounge/kitchen.great for us but probably less suited to those with mobility issues or who just want a beach holiday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kaina is a very peaceful village right in the middle between Rethymno and Chania. It can be a very good base point for exploring the whole of West Crete, from North to South where you can find some of the most well known beaches of the island. The residence is amazing and has everything a family needs. It was extremely clean. The pool in front of the house has a stunning view towards the mountains. Even the upstairs kitchen has a big window looking at the wonderful view. I would definitely suggest it and will come back soon, but for more days this time. A big thank you to Eleni for having us there!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've just completed a week. Really nice well equipped villa in a stunning location. The views are quite simply stunning. A couple of small villages nearby and also very close to a couple of nice coastal resorts. Chania and Rethmyno very easy to get to.
Our second week was just as good. Stunning drive to south coast and walked Imbros Gorge. Nice swim at Chora Sfakion.
Local villages fantastic with great tavernas and restaurants. Fantastic fortnight in a really good villa.
