Villa Avgerini Paxos - Giannas

Our stay at Villa Avgerini was everything we could have wished for. The position, a ten minute walk into Gaois was ideal and the views were stunning. The villa and the facilities were exceptional. Daily cleaning, frequent towel changes with care and attention to detail from start to finish of our stay. You can even purchase water, beer and wine to save carrying these heavy items from town. Eva the host has a clear understanding of what her guests require. Warm and friendly personality and there for you with any queries, helpful advice and is happy to book taxis and restaurants. A perfect host. For a relaxing holiday in beautiful accommodation, Paxos and the Villa Avgerini is the ideal location.

We have just returned from the most restful stay at Villa Avgerini. In these challenging times, when it's important to feel safe and that extra attention is paid to cleaning and social distancing, Eva's apartments provide the perfect retreat. We were only happy to make the trip, safe in the knowledge as previous customers, that Eva would be going the extra mile for us and her other visitors. We are able to enjoy a three week stay, so her self catering facilities are important to us, to allow us options to eat in and out. It's always good to know Eva is on hand if there's something you need, she finds a great balance between being so obliging and helpful, while allowing you your space and quiet time. This year's lockdown has taught us the importance of pausing and seeing beauty in the small things - the flora and fauna around the apartments are testament to the care Eva and Anthi take around the grounds. We look forward to our next visit and in the meantime the social media pictures and posts will give us our Paxos 'fix'

We can only thank Eva for the wonderful vacation we just had. Words are not enough to express how amazing our stay was at Villa Avgerini. The spacious and spotless apartment, the gorgeous pool, the magical view and Eva’s attention to details definitely exceeded all our expectations!! Paxos is a lovely island and with Eva’s recommendations, we got to experience it to its best! We hope to be back again!

Just the very best place to stay in Paxos without doubt. I have been visiting this Island since 1968 at the age of nine and over the years have stayed at many locations on this side of the Island ie. close to Gaios including having our own villa built here in the 1970's. We discovered Villa Avgerini last year when we were looking for somewhere that bit more special having just got married after Fifteen Years Together and this place just blew us away. We were in the Maisonette which is just perfect for two, offering that lovely intimacy and privacy with stunning views and everything is so immaculately clean and so well appointed. During this horrible COVID Year, Eva has gone above and beyond to adhere to all the required cleanliness and precautionary measures in her properties and all areas of the site. Never have we been anywhere so clean but also so welcoming just first class. Next year we are opting for the bigger villa below Eva's as it has been so beautifully decorated and designed with a bigger kitchen as we love to cook sometimes and not always go out. Eva even hand painted the furniture in the Master Bedroom, it looks amazing. I challenge anyone to come here and not be blown away by this lovely place and of course Eva makes it all just that bit more special. Now a Friend for Life, we left yesterday and miss her already.

We stayed at the Villa Avgerini for a few days in July, and wished it could have been longer! If you are visiting Paxos, and Eva's place is available, don't hesitate! You won't regret it. It is stunning, super clean and comfortable. The pool is gorgeous. Amazingly, it's a short, flat walk from Gaios (and a few steps up to the apartments) but with a fabulous view! Rare in Paxos. We loved it. See you soon Eva, I'm coming back!

Exclusive accommodation with best views on the sea one can expect. We had the 2-bedroom apartment on top level - very spacious with a beautiful terrace with sea view. But no accommodation is completed without the host. And Eva is the most caring, welcoming and warm person we have ever met in Greece. She made the difference ? Also to mention, the beds and pillows are comfortable, towels and sheets perfectly new and clean, everyday cleaning is a lux and the kitchen has all you need. The A/C's are very good quality too. All is made for a good and stressless vacation. Thank you, Eva!❤??

After trying some other places we finally found the perfect place for our trips to Paxos and will soon be there for the third time. The apartments are large and very well equipped, even with all the little things that you usually miss. All is very clean, looks like newly painted every year and you have a terrace or balcony with a perfect view. The pool is a few steps away and the terrace is large. The location is just perfect - close enough to Gaios to easily walk there in 10 min but also far away enough to have quietness. The little beach is a 4 min walk from the apartment. Eva is always available to help with everything you would need.
