Villa Bordeaux Santorini - Agiou Mina

First of all, I would like to say that Santorini is the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen. And if you want to fully enjoy it I definitely recommend that you choose Villa Bordeaux. The location of the hotel is perfect because there are no other buildings in front of you and the view of Caldera is marvelous. It is situated in the center of Fira and you can see its beauty on both sides. What I also want to mention is the swimming pool. In the afternoon when it’s really hot the swimming pool is essential it was the only salvation from the heat. As for the room, we were staying in Lava suite. It has a big window with Caldera view and a private balcony where you sunbath and just seat. What I really liked was the big bathroom with enormous shower. The service was also awesome and the staff did everything even before I could think about it. The hotel also has it’s own restaurant with French cuisine which is totally amazing and is also a must visit. It was a perfect stay and I definitely would like to return there!

Villa Bordeaux was honestly one of the best experiences of my life. My husband and I visited in June 2021 for a quick trip to Santorini and I am SO glad we stayed here. We chose to stay in the Terra Villa which has it's own private sauna inside, and it's own jacuzzi outside. It was such a clean, romantic and unique hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite. I also loved that there was a cleaning service twice a day so our villa was always clean and well stocked. The breakfast at this villa was the best food we had during our entire stay in Santorini. I'm back in New York now and regularly day dream about the breakfast at Villa Bordeaux. The Greek salad was SO fresh and the pastries were as good as the french pastries I've had in Paris. The views are unmatched from the bedroom and Jacuzzi and I felt like I was living in a movie. The only downside is that most of the touristy shops and views are in Oia, and this hotel is in Fira. The location is a little tricky to get to, but the staff are very helpful, making it easy to get your luggage here too. I would still recommend this Villa for those who can afford it, to stay on your Honeymoon or anniversary - you won't regret it! I hope we're able to come back and visit again soon!

If you are looking for luxury accommodation in the heart of Fira, Villa Bordeaux is the solution for you. This property boasts 4 suites all different with different luxury amenities. We stayed in the Aqua Suite and it was amazing! In fact, this suite features a beautiful infinity-edge whirlpool tub with an unparalleled view of the caldera. Inside, the rooms were refined and spacious, offering perfect comfort. Villa Bordeaux has its own classy restaurant called Le Colline where you can taste the famous Volcano dessert! The staff was always polite and very attentive to our requests. The breakfast served every day both outside and inside was really rich with selected and high-quality foods. We had a beautiful stay at Villa Bordeaux!

The fillet of sea bream was too small, no side dishes. The flavors of the boullabaisse need to be revised. We expected much better. The room was splendid but we were awakened by the nightclub Tango Bar located behind the hotel at 2:00 am on a Sunday night until 4:00 am.

We stayed at Villa Bordeaux and it was truly the best experience we ever had in all our trips to Santorini. The property is located in the most incredible location in Fira and is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a real 5 star experience. We stayed at the Lava Suite and the views for sunset where breathtaking. The staff was extremely kind and attentive to detail and since the propoerty features only 4 suites, you have the feeling of being in a truly exclusive and intimate Villa. An experience we won't forget and would recommend to anyone looking for a premium stay in Santorini.

We stayed at Villa Bordeux for three nights, and we had a truly amazing experience! The hotel location is impressive, next to the old port of Fira, where you can enjoy an amazing view over the caldera that is simply perfect for sunset. Our room was incredible (Lava Suite), very spacious, modern with with a very comfortable bed. Our terrace was very spacious perfect for sunbathing, relaxing and enjoying the sunset. We had one of our meals at La Colline restaurant and the food was delicious and very well prepared. Highly recommend their signature dessert The Santorini Volcano. Our breakfast was amazing! You could pick everything you wanted from a list on the day before (a wide variety of options with fruits, juices, eggs, yogurts, pastries and cereals) and have it by the pool or at your Suite. The staff was very kind and ready to help, what made our stay even more special. The hotel has a huge infinity swimming pool, located next to the bar/restaurant perfect for sunbathing and spending the afternoon enjoying some cocktails while enjoying the amazing caldera view. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a luxurious experience, some days of pure relaxation, delicious food and some exclusive location.

Only was in the restaurant and the service and food was tremendously overpriced. I payed almost 50€ for a tiny amount of lamb-meat and honestly, it didn't even taste special. The waiter also promptly forgot our table while handing out blankets in the evening, because it was getting cold, and only returned with blankets after asking, which should not be tolerated in a 5-Star restaurant. The only good thing was the view into the sunset: that looked so amazing, that it even distracted us from all the bad things happening in the restaurant. But as is well known, this is not in control of the restaurant. We left way to much money there for way to minor service and food. Would not recommend and not go again. MIA's Restaurant in Oia is there way, WAY better and, compared to this, definitely worth a try.

Everything is perfect if you stay here. The design of the hotel is exceptional, the infrastructure is exceptional (pool, view, service, etc.). But above all the suites are breathtaking. You will never forget your stay in Santorini.
