Villa Castello - Thasos

Awesome villa, great location and charming and empathetic, kind hosts Delin and Henry;) thank them for a pleasant stay !!!

in the first place I must commend the hosts who are very pleasant and very accommodating, will meet your every request. the accommodation is more than excellent, maximally clean and tidy. the yard is large and beautiful, full of greenery, for children it could not be better. the kitchen is fully equipped. within the kitchen there is a large veranda with a barbecue where we spent most of the time when we would finish touring the beach or touring the city. in short, everything is in place and just as much as you need. our small group of friends and relatives is very satisfied (fifteen of us, big and small). all that I wrote could fit into just one sentence: "our children have signed the guest book." once again a big thank you and see you next year.

The villa is in a very good location (we came with our own car). It is close enough to Limenas, and at the same time far enough from the center of the city, in the crowd and noise. Walking might be annoying to guests without a car, but driving a car is no problem (though it would be a good idea to bring the driveway in better condition). Each room has its own parking space inside the property. Owners have English as their mother tongue, so for those who know English, there is no communication problem. They are very professional and friendly. To our notice that the top bed is unsafe because the space between the bed and the wall is such that the child can fall out of bed, the problem was temporarily solved immediately, and the next day a professional carpenter was hired, who placed an extra page on the bed. A change of mattresses and renovations would be welcomed, but an adequate price would also follow the current condition of the property. The summer kitchen is a great solution and a nice place to hang out with other guests and enjoy the panoramic view of Limenas and the sea. It is generally well equipped with dishes, but the pan should be replaced with a new one. The only serious complaint is about the mosquito net at the entrance to the family room. The sliding mosquito door would be much more comfortable to use because the current solution is not suitable for young children, and it is not always easy for adults to open and close the mosquito net. For olive oil lovers the information that it can be bought at a very good price from the owner of the property.

Old facilities. It is difficult to open the windows with screens. The rooms do not provide security. Very nice garden and polite hosts.
