Villa Del Sol Santorini - Traditional estate village of Messaria

Auf der Suche nach einer schönen Unterkunft sind wir über Monikas Appartement gestolpert. Zunächst hatte uns der Preis abgeschreckt, aber eig ist die Unterkunft auch für mindestens 2 Paare gedacht (also 4 Personen). Dann ist es fast schon „günstig“. Also wir waren 1 Woche zu 2 und waren natürlich dem Luxus auch verfallen mit 2 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern (inkl. Dusche). Die Kommunikation mit Monika war stets einfach und freundlich. Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Der Pool war toll. Lidl war in der Nähe (3 Autominuten). Wir konnten uns mittags einen leckeren Salat machen. Die Nespresso Maschine hat tadellos funktioniert. Und der Kaffee war sehr lecker. Bei der Ankunft gab es eine Flasche Wasser, Saft, Weißwein und viele kleine Packungen mit Honig und Marmelade. Der Weißwein war sehr lecker ?. Die Lage ist genial (wenn man ein Auto hat) man ist überall sehr schnell. Wir empfehlen Monikas Unterkunft. Und würden jederzeit sofort wieder kommen. 5 von 5 Sternen.

Amazing villa! We had a wonderful time! Fantastic location!

We same to Santorini for a wedding. This villa suited our needs perfectly. With a group of 7 we occupied both units. On arrival we were met and shown round. Every thing you need is there from toiletries to slippers. The kitchen was well equipped and perfect for self catering although a 10 min walk away you will find places to eat (and reasonably inexpensive) along with 2 small supermarkets (we did look at Lidl but decided it wasn’t worth the journey, the local stores were just as good). Monica was a brilliant host and sent details of the bus stops, the buses are brilliant, comfy and a very reasonable cost at under £2 each journey. I highly recommend these and they run until midnight and some longer. We were due to leave the villa at midday but our flight wasn’t until late and very kindly we were allowed to stay until then. The area surround the villa is much less touristy and as a result very tranquil. With the bus taking 10-15 mins to Fira it’s great to enjoy the lights and atmosphere of the busy town then return to peace and quiet. Outside of the villa the terrain is hilly and not disable friendly but then very little of the island is.

The perfect trip. The villa was beautiful and clean, in a charming little village. Above that, Monica, the owner was dedicated to our well being. Despite the high season, she made so much efforts to find for us a rental car. She is available at any time, which is very appreciated. Also, she offered to book a taxi to the airport or the ferry port. Without Monica, our trip would not be so awesome, a huge thank you !!!
