Villa Dimitra - Κατωβίγλι

Sehr schön gelegenes Apartement direkt über dem Hafen mit Blick auf den Strand, die Flaniermeile und Makri Galios. Sehr gute Ausstattung aller Räumlichkeiten und sehr großzügig. Strände sehr gut erreichbar. Auch sonst alles in Laufreichweite. Herzlicher Empfang. Gerne wieder!

£6500 Disaster Disaster - We booked a week away at Villa Dimitra in Eloundain Crete,The flight was fine and we drove to Villa, upon arrival the villa was beautiful and the setting was lovely. We were about 1/2 a mile from town and up a very steep hill. So far so good.... When we got into the Villa it as very hot, We were told the air con was not working, As we arrived on a Sunday it could not be fixed till Tuesday, Have a free bottle of wine, It was so hot we had to have the windows open and got eaten alive by Mosquitos, On the Monday the power in the Villa started to fail, They constantly had to put it back on, They then attemted to repair the air con. This made the power situation even worse to the point we had no power. The villa rep said it was local area problem which we believed initally, The no power may not seem a problem but the property had electic gates so we could not get the car out, hence we were stuck, One night we decided to walk into town and looked back at villa expecting to see the other villas in darkness, but no everyone else had light. On the Friday a crew of electricians came and pulled through another mains supply to the property. Clearly the issue was the power supply that was installed was insufficent to run the villa and this had to be upgraded. We reported the matter to James villas and got one phone call,I then claimed the accomodation part of the holiday back. James villas have given a very different account to my bank in an attempt to claw the money back. This company is all about the money and you as a customer are just the cow they Milk. Luckily most corrispondance we had with the rep is over text. I also took pictures. Lets see where it goes. The bottom line is, I would have prefered to have the money in my account than the experience I had.....
