This was our 2nd visit to Villa Eros after having to cancel planned visits in June 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic. We had a wonderful time in the villa, super in every way- the views from both inside and out, the facilities in the villa itself and the incredible infinity pool. Enjoyed it so much booked in for our 3rd visit in 2022.

Even before we arrived we knew this holiday was going to be something special... We wasn’t disappointed. All the communication , help and recommendations we received from Katie even before we arrived helped make this holiday an experience we’ll never forget. The villa ... The welcome basket ... The privacy ... The pool ... The view ... Oh the view ... from your bed ... from the outside dining table ... from your sun lounger or from the outside sofa ... morning, noon or night it’s a view that you could never tire from ... a view that only seeing is believing. Everything about the Villa honestly is perfection. Away from the villa we walked into Skala town each night ... takes around 1 hour ... all downhill and very pleasant. Would definitely recommend hiring a car for Airport transfers , supermarket runs and trips out though. Skala town has so many quality bars and restaurants... We took up Katie’s recommendations... fabulous Greek tavernas serving authentic Greek cuisine... we didn’t have one bad meal.... thank you . I must admit it is with a bit of reluctance that I write this review because I want to keep this place all to myself ... but Katie and the villa deserve your custom. Two things to finish though ... Thank you so much and see you again in 2021 ;-) x

We have now stayed here twice and words alone cannot serve justice as to how beautiful Villa Eros is. Many holiday villas claim to be luxurious, but this place really is. The property is located on a hillside with uninterrupted views of the Ionian Sea and adjacent Islands. The villa offers total seclusion and is not overlooked from any of the surrounding areas. Watching the sun rise in the morning through the bedroom windows is glorious and a perfect start to a day of relaxing on the patio or the amazing infinity pool. The service we’ve received each year has been excellent. Katie’s attention to detail is remarkable. We’ve been made to feel very welcome, fully informed, have had all the services available as we required them, along with all the privacy and space to really relax and enjoy this extraordinary place. We’ve really enjoyed our surroundings, learning about the old village and new town, walked down to the family owned taverna for some traditional local food, or taking short drives down to Skala or further afield to Poros. The drive around the island offers the most stunning views of the sea and some of the world most beautiful beaches. We loved it, and we will be going again.

We enjoyed the stay tremendously. It could not have been better. The house is very nice and has all what is needed. The pool is great. The view is just stunning. We were up relatively early every morning to see the most beautiful sunrise. We were very lucky with the weather - last week of October. 24 degree and blue sky all along the week. There were still many flowers around the house. It was so beautiful to just stay there that we hardly went for other activities, despite a bit of hiking in the backyards, so we did not missed all the closed restaurants etc. The silence was also very special. So relaxing. A few birds around the house and from time to time the bells of the sheep. Nothing else. It was a real late summer dream.

My wife and I had the best week at Villa Eros. The photo’s on the website look great, but seeing it in person just blows your mind! The owners have thought of everything. Not one detail missing. We will definitely return. Thank you for such a breath-taking experience.

Villa Eros lives up to its reviews and billing. It is so peaceful and secluded in a stunning location. Everything you might need is nearby with a few excellent restaurants. The villa itself is beautifully decorated and clean. The welcome pack is thought through, so much so that we didn’t need to shop immediately. Although we didn’t need to contact Katie while we were there, during the booking process she was so helpful adding extra information to make sure that we had everything we might need. She was always prompt with her reply and very kind and thoughtful. We would highly recommend a stay here!

WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED...............................NOT I think the villa should be re named Villa Ronseal as it does exactly what it says on the tin ! We booked this villa 2 years ago but due to Covid our 2020 holiday was carried over to this year, well it was definitely worth the wait ! The photos on the website do not do this property justice, you have to be there to appreciate it. The pool area and the views from the infinity pool are just stunning, so much so that a couple of mornings we got up early just to lay on the sun beds and watch the sunrise. The quality of the fixtures and fittings are what you would expect from a 5* hotel and the electric shutters in the bedroom are like something out of a Bond movie ! The welcome pack is a very nice touch and is far superior to your normal welcome pack, as is the small book of restaurant recommendations which you can add to if you want. We only stayed in one evening and ventured down the mountain to the local restaurants and tavernas in the car each night, a little scary the first couple of times but you soon get used to the roads. The villa is so peaceful both day and night, the only sound to be heard in the distance is the bell from the goats. We had a fantastic time there and will definitely be back !
