★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for a holiday but a steep hill down into the town is not for the feint hearted. Unfortunately, lack of pruning of the surrounding shrubs and trees, hid some stunning scenic views.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little retreat cottage with private pool and beautiful sea/bay views! Julia the maid is lovely, friendly & helpful. The Villa is beautiful, small and compact. It is perfect for a couple (no more, not really enough room for children here). Nice and clean inside (the decor could be a tad better inside). Also a bit hard to find (up dirt tracks at night) so a sign outside would have been helpful! Pool and outside area is fabulous! Beautiful walled flower gardens and the lavender grown all around the cottage smells amazing!! The few down sides are, no hair drier! No umberella (for those odd rainy days) and only one towel each provided! That really is not enough. It would also have heen nice to be welcomed with a small milk in the fridge for all those English visitors who if arriving at night and with the shops being shut are in need of a cuppa! (There were some tea bags sat tantalisingly in a pot). But on the whole highly recommended! If you get the chance to visit this little hidden gem then DO! Don't forget to bring your Durrell books to read on the terrace!
