I booked the property on booking.com. We stayed for half an hour, we were shown the property in details and we were forced to cancel: 1. It was dirty, very dirty. We checked rooms, kitchen, baths in detail because of COVID-19. Forget about COVID prescriptions, there were no disinfectants, nobody wearing masks, gloves, etc. It was just dirty and rooms stink. Maybe because of smoking but rooms were stinky. 2. Location is bad - it is very close to the main road, the area is very dirty (even for Greece), piles of trashes on the near street (overflowing the trash bin). There is no beach around, and definitely not beachfront. There are other non-finished, ugly-looking, "under construction" houses around. Check Google maps and satellite views. 3. It is unclear whether you are booking the whole Villa or just a part of it. On the place it is advertised as maisonette and it looked like a part of larger building. 4. Regarding pets: the property is listed as “Pets allowed on request” and I did request it during booking process. My request was never replied until I came at the property, and yet I was not allow to enter with the dog. I had to cancel and lost my money (no, booking.com doesn’t care about you, they care about the accommodation and their own fee) 5. When I arrived, owner was not at the place, I had to call him and some other guy that was not speaking English appeared. Owner also “stopped” speaking English some days later after he got my money. Communicating in English was very hard in general. 6. I would not recommend this place to anyone. To me it is obviously a scam. Owner knew I was with a dog, never replied to my request, used his lack of reply as an excuse to "not breaking rules", forced me cancel and kept the money.
