Villa Magical View - Afrotolakos

Die zwei Wochen sind wieder sehr schnell vorbeigegangen. Auch dieses Mal haben wir nicht allzu viel von der Umgebung gesehen, da wir alles was das Herz begehrt, vor der Haustür hatten: Tolle Bademöglichkeiten, super ausgestattetes Haus, Abgeschiedenheit, Ruhe und Erholung, absolut toller Ausblick. Nur zum Einkaufen sind wir einige Male nach Elafonisi gefahren (ca. 25 Min.) und waren dort auch am Strand, der für unseren Geschmack jedoch zu überlaufen war. Wir waren mit 5 Personen in der Villa Magical View, was gut gepasst hat. Das Haus ist auf jeden Fall weiterzuempfehlen ... und auch die Lomi-Lomi-Massage von Brigitta :-) Ein schöner Rückzugsort für alle, die mal eine Auszeit brauchen.

Ein toller Ort, das Beste seit langem. Ich werde mit Sicherheit wieder kommen. Es ist nicht nur das komplett ausgestattete Haus, der saubere Kristall-klare Pool, die irre Aussicht, sondern auch die Wärme und Herzlichkeit der Menschen in den kleinen Restaurants, in den Supermärkten und Läden. Ein besonderer Dank an die Gastgeberin Frau Birgita Kolte , die warmherzig und fröhlich jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite steht. Vielen, vielen Dank nochmal. Sept. 2019

Absolut traumhaft. Wir hatten mit unseren drei Töchtern eine herrliche Woche. Die Lage der Villa ist wirklich atemberaubend-auf einem Fels, das Meer und die schöne, fast immer völlig leere, kleine Bucht überblickend. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und blitzsauber. Wir haben auch den schönen Salzwasserpool viel genutzt, zwischendurch sind wir hinunter in die kleine Bucht gelaufen und dort im klaren Wasser geschwommen. Auch die Umgebung fanden wir besonders schön, noch sehr ursprünglich, landschaftlich wunderschön und wenig verbaut. Birgitta Kolte hat uns wunderbar zur Seite gestanden und sowohl im Vorhinein als auch während unseres Aufenthalts bei eventuellen Fragen immer sofort und ausführlich geantwortet.

Wir verbrachten Anfang September 2020 unseren Urlaub in der Villa. Lange war nicht klar ob wir überhaupt fahren können wegen Corona und hatten auch einige Bedenken. Aber zum Glück waren diese unbegründet und wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub. Die Griechen waren sehr freundlich, immer sehr hilfsbereit und hielten sich an die Vorschriften. Wir fühlen uns immer sicher. Die Villa ist genauso wie im Internet beschrieben und es fehlt an nix. Für Ruhesuchende ein Traum. Birgitta Kolte stand uns vor und während des Aufenthaltes immer helfend zur Seite. Wir können die Villa uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

The villa offers what its name promises: A magnificent view over the bay of Kampos (Afrotolakous) with its wonderful pebble beach surrounded from an impressive and unspoilt landscape. The natural stone Villa, built in a traditional style, is a 140 square meter single-storey building. The fully equipped open floor kitchen, dinning and living spaces are open to the terrace and to an amazing spacious garden area which offers a huge space for outdoor playing and entertainment. The beach of Kampos/Afrotolakkous is a 6 minute walk. Enjoy this peaceful atmosphere in absolute privacy and with breathtaking sunsets directly in front of you.

Villa Magic View……..situated on the middle of the West coast of Crete the villa view sits atop a rocky outcrop and enjoys far reaching views of the immediate bay and small Venetian Harbour. The “Magical View” lives up to its namesake with an unrestricted panorama of sea, rocky coastline married with the calming lapping of waves below - it can be only described as truly magnificent and many hours were spent enjoying this vista during our stay. The villa caters comfortably for 4 people with two bedrooms to the rear all within a single storey, the twin bedded has access to a separate bathroom, and the other a double bedroom benefits from an ensuite shower. Air conditioning to both bedrooms does an excellent job of providing a comfortable sleeping environment. Adjoining the bedrooms via a small corridor is a well equipped kitchen, table for eating and a large lounge with satellite tv, panoramic views over the harbour and air conditioning if required. Although the internal facilities were more than adequate (dishwasher, washing machine, microwave etc) the tendency would be to spend most of your time on the large covered veranda where there is a large six-seater wooden table for eating. To complement this several sofas are provided to relax al-fresco with a glass of wine and watch breath-taking sunsets. The front of the villa provides secure access via an automatic electric gate, space for a car and a small table and chairs to view the morning sunrise. To the rear and fronting the veranda is a large sun terrace with several sturdy sun beds, a natural grass lawn, and the magnificent 9m infinity pool. The whole rear of the property is enclosed by an discreet metal railing for safety. Locally the area is quiet, remote and secure - ideal for a peaceful and worry-free holiday. The village of Kampos, a ten minute drive up the winding road, boasts three tavernas - the best of which, in our opinion, was Sunset Taverna. Birgitta - owner of Crete-Retreats was very responsive to any questions or problems and was a delight to deal with. Our visit to Villa Magical View was fantastic from start to finish and I would encourage anyone looking for a luxurious villa with stunning views to book without hesitation.

The "secret" litte cozy hideaway you were always looking for! The panorama view and the sunsets are breathtaking. The villa is good condition, well maintained and has a nice infinity pool. Its a bit remote, away from any touristic buzz. Its the perfect place to relax, let go, slow down and recharge lost energy if this is what you are looking for.
