Villa Mary - Arkadiou

We had a wonderful time at Villa Mary. The house is fantastic, it is beautifully decorated with lots of convenient features and offers enough space for two (bigger) families. The heartwarming hospitality of the owners makes you feel at home right away. The location is perfect for trips to various beaches or the mountains as well as the nearby town of Rethymno. We enjoyed peaceful walks through the surrounding olive groves and delicious meals prepared by the owner (her cooking even exceeds the already fantastic food served in the tavernas in the surrounding villages by far). The kids spent lots of time on the basketball court, but loved the other sports facilities as well. We will definitely return and are very much looking forward to our next vacation in Crete in Villa Mary! Many thanks for your hospitality! Wir haben die Zeit in der Villa Mary sehr genossen! Das Haus war perfekt für unsere Riesenfamilie. Während die ältere Generation die wunderbare Aussicht vom Balkon genossen hat oder die Ruhe auf den Liegestühlen am Pool, kamen die Kinder so richtig auf ihre Kosten bei den vielen Sportangeboten und spielten die meiste Zeit Basketball oder Billiard. Die Lage ist ideal für Ausflüge in der Umgebung, und zum Strand ist es zwar zu Fuß zu weit, aber mit dem Auto ist er schnell erreicht. Absolut zu empfehlen: Das Essen bei der Besitzerin zu bestellen. Sie kocht absolut göttlich! Vielen herzlichen Dank an die Gastgeber für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.
