★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wat een geweldige tijd hebben wij gehad bij Villa Socrates! Elke dag genoten we weer van “onze”prachtige villa met adembenemend uitzicht, privacy, rust en ruimte. De villa is heel gezellig, netjes en verzorgd. Het contact met de (zoon van) de eigenaar was super! Hij was attent, gemakkelijk bereikbaar en erg behulpzaam. Onze vakantie op corfu was fantastisch en villa Socrates was de kerst op de taart!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at the villa for 10 nights and had a very peaceful holiday. The villa is lovely and looks just like the photos. The view down to Corfu Town is amazing! Angelos the owner was very helpful and was happy to answer any questions and quickly sorted a couple of minor issues we had with the WiFi and TV. When we arrived we had a few supplies waiting for us (2 x bottles of water, bag of croissants, 3 x beers, washing up liquid, coffee sachets, etc) which were a very welcome touch! We spent most of our time relaxing round the pool by day and BBQing by night, but ventured to Corfu Town and Palaiokastrias for day trips, both are worth a visit. The local town of Kassiopi is also a must, there is an amazing bakery there (great bread and cakes) and also a number of nice restaurants. We had a hire car, which is a needed given the villa's location, so we did a big shop at Lidl near the airport and topped up at the Diellas supermarket in Acharavi. The local supermarket (Yannis) in Agnitsini is handy but is a little expensive for a full shop.

We stayed for 1 week and felt so relaxed and rejuvenated with the beautiful pool, outdoor setting and great views. I would highly recommend this villa for friends or families. I cant wait to return! 5 stars!!!
