Bozanstvena pescana plaza,dugacka nekoliko kilometara.Ulazak u vodu, do vece dubine treba preci oko 170 metara,do dubine vode prosecne visine coveka,onda vam je voda do struka.Idealno mesto za kupanje i decu, voda plitka i cista,topla,zbog male dubine.Na udaljenosti od obale oko 50metsra,nalazi se pescani sprud.Visina ovde je iznad clanka, do kolena.Zatim nastavljate dalje kroz vodu gde se polako dubina povecava.Stalno duva vetar srednje jacine.Lezalke 2 i suncobran=7euro.Parking besplatan.Udaljenost od Kasiopija oko 5,2 km.Bus saobraca u lokalu.Ovde je stvarno bozanstveno.Ima taverni sa hranom i picem cene prihvatljive.Odmor vas ovde zeljno ceka.Paznja na plazi ima dosta pcela-osa nije ni najmanje prijatno.Oko podne pocinje da duva vetar srednje jacine???Ovo je bilo druga polovina meseca augusta....

Perfect family villa on the beach

Perfect holiday beach house for families!!!!

I am nearly 2 years late writing this review and for which I can only apologise, this is in no way a reflection of the quality of the Villa or the warm welcome we received from the owners. It is more to do with the fact that we stayed with another couple and we each thought the other was writing the review and then forgot. The Villa itself had fantastic facilities and was kept very clean. It was ideally located with 3 Tavernas all in walking distance but you need a car to get to the local super market (unless they delivered?). As stated in other reviews, the location to the beach (just at the bottom of the garden) is ideal from people with young families but don’t let this put you off if you are looking for a more adult holiday, the beaches aren’t exactly packed with screaming kids. One down side though was the mosquitoes, the villa does have screens to keep them out but if you are sitting outside you need to make sure you have plenty off repellent on. We went in May so I’m not sure if this is an issue later in the season? The thing that really made our stay exceptional was the owners. We got off to a bad start on this holiday, one of the members of our party arrived at the airport and experienced chest pains, we collect our hire car and drove straight to the hospital. Fortunately he was OK but he was kept in for 2 nights under observation. The rest of the party arrived at the villa a lot later than planned (11pm at night instead of 4pm) but there was still a warm and friendly welcome from the owner’s mother (Dimitra) and she took the time to show us around and answer any questions we had about the local area. When we told her about our friend being in hospital she introduced us to a family friend who was a cardiologist on the island, he was extremely valuable and helped us greatly with the language barrier. Dimitra came every other day to clean but she always took the time to talk to us, teach our children to count to 10 in Greek and even showed me to make Greek Coffee! ? I have stayed in Villa Plus accommodation previously but the personal touches at Villa Thalassa really made our holiday memorable, so much so I felt compelled to write about it (even if it was 20 months after we originally stayed there).
