★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is an excellent place to spend with the family. Lots of privacy in this villa compound of 6 villas perched on the slopew of a hill and sharing a pool. We had the villa with 4 bedrooms which is higher up and it takes 2 flights of steps to reach it. The villa itself is very well done up and well maintained. The view of Psarou Beach and Nammos Town is beautiful, both day and night.
However, to move around Mykonos, you definitely need a car - the public bus network is not reliable and it takes about 20mins to walk down slope and up to the main road to catch the public bus. Although the villa has about 3 or 4 vehicles available for pick up and drop, you will need to book early as they are shared by others too.
Overall, if you are looking for peace and quiet relaxation, a little self catering and cooking, and have a car to move around, this place is highly recommended.

the Villa was extremely spacious with comfortable beds, Charis, and dining area.
the view over the town and bay was absolutely incredible, and substantially better than the view from other locations that I have stayed at here.
pool saw direct sunlight most of the day which kept it warm well into the evening.
I highly recommend Villa Thelgo if you're looking for an upscale location to stay in mykonos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the first villa we stayed at on the island. And it was incredible. The views were out of this world. And being atop the mountain looking down on the city at night was just breath taking.
Watching planes land on the other side of the valley was super unique and cool to see.
If I were to ever return to Mykonos. I'd be heading back to villa Thelgo.
