We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel. We got a lot of expert info about Cretan wine as well as the history of Crete. We tasted about 10 wines and enjoyed a tasty and extensive meal in a village tavern. Thanks a LOT!!

We got to taste many delicious wines and the lunch was a wonderful example of local food. The best food we ate during our time in Crete. A wonderful day out.

Thanks to Georgios we got an amazing and very insightful view of some of the most exiting new grapes being discovered by a new generation of wine aficionados in Crete. The transformation of Cretan wine was such a great surprise and what a pleasure to have Georgios tell us about it with all his passion and knowledge about it. We ended the day in a taverna where on top of having tasted some amazing wine also served one of the most delicious meals I have ever tried - by far one of my top 5 meals ever. All in all 5 out of 5 for a great tour guide, amazing wines, and the best meal ever. Thanks for all your great passion and good energy Georgios. We tasted some excellent wines and had a delicious greek lunch at small country taverna. Georgios is a very knowledgeable guide and his English is superb! I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get off the beaten path and see the inland beauty and richness of Crete.

It was a unique experience and very much a highlight of our vacation. Every member of my family loved the experience (my wife and I, as well as our parents). Everything was fantastic: from seeing two unique types of wineries, to the (many) wines offered, as well as the lunch of local recipes. Also, I particularly want to highlight how great it was to travel with our guide Caspar. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Crete and the production of wines and olive oil, he was very sociable and fun to spend the day with, and we felt safe with him driving. He truly made it a day to remember!

Georgios showed us around and we could explore the sights and some indigenous stores of the city. Georgios impressed with his broad knowledge not only of the city’s history but also about the making and background of typical Greek products. Altogether we had a great time and would highly recommend to do this tour!
