Volcano Blue - Donkey street/Fira Fira

We were there for two times for dinners . Foods are tasty and service is excellent. We booked ahead and was given a corner tables with beautiful sunset views . Highly recommended this restaurant for those who would like to have dinner in Fira town .

This restaurant is the best in Fira! During our holiday in Santorini, we went two times for dinner to the volcano blue restaurant. I can only recommend to go there. The food is simply delicious and the staff is really very friendly.

Stumbled upon this one while finding a place to eat in the middle of Fira without reservation (not an easy task if you want to eat at one of the better ones). The view and ambience were pretty good and same goes for the staff. The food was decent. Nothing to write home about. The cocktails could have done with a bit of flavour. Overall it was alright but compared to the kind of food and cocktails, we have had in Greece, this one was quite underwhelming. They were sweet enough to offer us a souvenir and also two shots of dessert wine. So, maybe it's more of a 3.5 :)

We were enjoying the sunset nearby and stopped by this amazing restaurant just to see if they could serve us without a reservation. To our surprise we were immediately seated and well taken care of. We had the seafood platter for 2 and really enjoyed it. We also loved our waiter, Yiannis and the rest of the team. Highly recommend them!

Service was friendly and at the end they give for free a Vinsanto Dessert Wine, which it's great!. We ordered two starters and two fish. The Starters were delicious and so tasteful. The main dishes were also good, but a little bit too simple. Beautiful view of the Sunset. Recommended to reserve a table in advance.

I’ve booked 3 hours beforehand for dinner at 6pm and the manager was very kind to accept our reservation request. Good service from the lovely waitress who did her job very well. We ordered several dishes and really appreciated the dolmades, grilled prawns, mussels with rice and also spaghetti with prawns. It was honestly very tasty! The baklava was delicious as well but if you don’t like too sweet desserts, order one to share it will be fine. Finally, thank you very much for offering us a dégustation of your local fruity wine, it’s was exquisite!

My husband and I are in Greece for our honeymoon. We’ve been in Santorini for a couple of days, made sure to see the sunset at Oia and also wanted to see it in Fira. Volcano Blue came up on the recommended list and when we strolled by to see if they had a reservation, we were greeted by the kindest woman- Danae. I told her that I knew it was a stretch to find “sunset view” last minute but she showed us the option available for a table and it was perfect. When we arrived for our reservation, another couple had canceled theirs and Danae offered us their table on the terrace with the same, but almost better view of this amazing place and the Aegean Sea. The sunset was absolutely breath taking and our server, Angelo, did not rush us to order so we were able to take our time and enjoy the view. The food was absolutely delicious; the salmon filet was cooked perfectly, wine selection was wonderful and my husband enjoyed the pina coladas. The atmosphere was calm, and you could tell that the patrons there were enjoying the majestic view. This family operated restaurant fosters a comfortable and warm environment. I made a reservation a week in advanced & we got the best seat in the restaurant. The service, view, food & wine were great. Highly recommend!
