EDIT After the reply of the manager of the restaurant I have to modify a bit my review. First, I don't doubt of the quality of the ingredients, I can't judge them because in my case the dishes were not good in my opinion and I could not taste or understand the quality of the ingredients. Second, not only I stand what I said, but would add that judging from the answer the reason all of this happened is that they can't speak even basic English; I can only think the waiter either could not explain anything or either didn't understand anything. The waiter proposed grilled feta which is on the menu, and it wasn't even grilled. The waiter proposed a greek salad as main dish immediately. After ordering the rest I asked if it was possible to have a side dish, like a green salad, because the waiter didn't tell me that chips were included with the souvlaki, and he said that yes it was possible. Also, after I waited for 40 minutes for 4 souvlaki and found out they were bad the manager asks why I didn't send them back to the kitchen wait for new ones... I don't really know what to say. Apart from this clarification, I keep on thinking that everything was pretty bad. I spent in total 12 days across all Greece, had only local or traditional food, and this is the only place that made me feel the need of writing a very bad review. ORIGINAL POST In summary: Pros: Very good location They apologized after the dinner Cons: Racist jokes from the waiter 40 minutes waiting while the restaurant is empty (2 people other than me) Very bad food, which they proposed!!!! It wasn't even what the waiter proposed, they brought something else, which I want to stress was BAD Very bad and slow service MY DINNER HAS BEEN DISGUSTING!!!!! Full story I sat at 21:15, there are two people in the restaurant other than me. The waiter took his time with a colleague and arrived after five minutes. Then when he arrived he asked me where I'm from, and immediately after started with offensive and racists jokes on Italian people. I told him that it is offensive and based on stupid stereotypes, he didn't even apologize. I should have left at that time, but instead... He suggested a starter, grilled feta, which I ordered, and then I picked pork souvlaki and a green salad (the waiter said they had it) as main dish. The salad arrived at 21:45, it wasn't a green salad, just some tomatoes with cucumbers. It's ok, but why didn't he tell me? They also added some brown bread that was as hard as stone. Then the souvlaki arrived. I've been traveling through Greece for 11 days at this point and I can't describe how bad this ones were. First, they were burned not cooked, very dry and hard. Then they were literally covered in salt, they didn't taste of anything if not salt. The only word I can use to describe them is disgusting. Also they came with cold chips. Yes, chips that were likely fried ten minutes before the meat was ready. I ask where my feta is, and the waiter (another one) at first looked puzzled, went inside, and then told me that in two minutes it'd arrive. So no starter but side dish, it's ok. But evidently they forgot about it because what arrived was a slice of feta cooked for thirty seconds in the microwave, not grilled at all. Disgusting as well as the souvlaki, feta in the microwave is not good. It was super soft and super salty, because in the microwave all the juice went out the cheese and what remained was a chewy paste with a lot of salt. Again I can't find any other word than disgusting to describe it. The only decent thing was the location and the beer! My dinner was... well, sorry to repeat my self, disgusting in my opinion, and while I write this review I both feel sorry because I know it can damage the people working here and I'm still hungry.
