★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beloved vacation area. Vrasna asprovalta and Stavros along with Stagira and all the small beaches at the beginning of Chalkidiki are the secret gems of North Greece's tourism. Apart from beautiful and turquoise water beaches there are numerous beach bars either to relax or have some serious fun. Tavernas and restaurants are abundant throughout all the area with local fresh seafood and fishes and even nice meat dishes. Gyros at its best with several locations to enjoy. Accomodation is easy with a lot of options from cheap to more expensive. People are helpful and willing. Dont hesitate to wander around and walk/drive the area. You will be rewarded. Visit for sure ancient Stagira, home of Aristotles.
