Very professionally run. Good food and white wine (we haven't tried the red). What is there not to like. Get in early or book a table to get in. Thank you for all your lovely food and drinks

Regrettably I had a migraine and had to leave the restaurant after I had my starter but I do remember the Gigantes were really nice and the service was excellent. The rest of the family had nice meals.

Highly recommend for everybody who is in Alykanas. Great service, delicious food and variety of Greek dishes as well as from other countries made in Greek style ? (e.g. tiramisu). Me and my mother have been there 7 times and were never disappointed.

Amazing food, atmosphere and service! We stayed in Zakynthos for 7 days and came here everyday for dinner. The waiters were very friendly and welcoming. Everything we had to eat was delicious. The stifado exceptional, kleftiko best lamb ever, stuffed tomatoes, moussaka, meatballs, aubergine special, fried aubergines, Greek salad, feta and of course souvlaki - pork, chicken and lamb all amazing! We were given complimentary dessert every night. Very reasonably priced also. The photos speak for themselves. Definitely recommend :)

Just look at the photo. We've been welcomed by kind and capable waiters. The menu is wonderful. Just pick a random starter (actually 3 or 4) and you're done. Heavenly. For just as much as 37€ in two, wine included.

Vrisaki Taverna is our favourite place for an evening meal . A few years back we stayed at Danny’s hotel which is opposite, We ate here 8 nights out of 14 it was that good. As we had tried a lot of different dishes on the menu , I said to the owner for a joke you don’t do roast chicken we like that on Sunday at home . He replied make sure you come in on Sunday. Yes you guessed it “Roast chicken Sir , Madame , And it was beautiful, He went out of his way that day just for us . Other holiday makers saw our food and asked for it , He said you have started something now !!!! He told us the next night he will be adding it to the menu. We recently returned to zante but was stopping in the next resort Alekes . So the one night we jumped on a horse taxi and came back to our favourite restaurant. They remembered us as soon as we walked in . Yes the roast chicken was on the menu!!! But we had that the night before at our own resort. So I had the Beef , My good lady had chicken Souvlaki, just as good as the last time. Even gave us free wine all night . He told us the roast chicken was very popular and a good addition to the menu. The restaurant is always busy and the staff are so friendly so get in early between 7 pm - 8 pm . After 8 pm it’s full to Capacity and the dining experience is not so personal. So if your staying in Alakanes it’s a must try restaurant. Enjoy ? ❤️

So impressed. As it was just outside our hotel, we walked straight past this restaurant most nights. Bad move, as we missed a treat. Just off the main road into Alykanas, this lovely restaurant has a much more professional feel compared to other places, from the beautiful menus to the excellent staff. Great prices and great food.
