★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good experience, although crowded on weekends. WaffleManiac has another joint at the main square of Nea Makri, with same desserts and ice creams, plus crepes and savoury snacks, BUT it lacks the sea view. It was a good move to see it at the sea side front, but they have to get a bit more snappy, because sometimes the service suffers. 3 stars mainly for the service... shape up guys and go for top marks.

I didn't have any waffles, just ice cream. The casual options were missing (vanilla, chocolate...) and the options available were not that good.
Prices were really good tho

Today, me and my two parents have decided to visit the beautiful city of Nea Makri.
After a long outdoor walk, we decided to have a coffee and enjoy a waffle by the sea.
We ordered:
1 freddo espresso (medium sugar/sweetness)
1 cappuccino double
1 greek hot coffee
1 special waffle.
First of all, the cappuccino was prepared too early and "forgotten". Thus, the cream on top had been "dissolved" into the rest of the coffee (yes, it affected both the taste and the image).
Secondly, the freddo espresso had not a single particle of sugar, making it taste more bitter than anything.
Greek coffee and waffle were just ok.
Last but not least: the waiter didn't fullfil the national health measures for COVID 19 pandemic, as he wore only one mask (not always correctly around his face).
PS. If you dream of receiving a receipt, don't dream big.
Amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best waffles EVER!!! The waffles are huge, the chocolate flavor ice cream on top was so tasty, it is TO DIE FOR!! First time round had waffle with 1 scoop chocolate ice cream, and 1 scoop Lila pause ice cream, with strawberry syrup, χρηωατιστή τρούφα (colored sprinkles), the next time round tried it with the Συρόπι βύσσινο (cherry syrup). Freaking amazing both times! The staff are friendly and helpful, and they even let you try the flavors before committing, so that you can get the right ones! Cannot praise these guys enough! Will come again!!
