★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WU promises ‘money in minutes’. I instructed a transfer on their website and completed the related bank transfer. After that I kept receiving emails asking for payment. I called their customer services. You go through music, selection menus. When you talk you spend a long time explaining and the person assures you they are there to help. In reality that are just there to take note of the complaint without being able to resolve anything. They pass the matter on to another department.
I had to prove the payment made with scans of bank documents. No news for a week. New calls, more emails.
Eventually got an email saying they had found my payment 2 WEEKS LATER. There was a suggestion that it was all my fault as some reference (not specifying which?) was wrong. That is incorrect.
No excuse. Considerable waste of time and aggravation at the receiving end for non-receipt of emergency money. And no offer to reimburse the cost of this abysmal service.
