We couldn't expect more... Georgia treat us like we were family...and the location of the room and pool was magnificent....I suggest it without second thought...

5 stars aren't enough for this eco and pet-friendly hotel! We stayed for 4 nights and we felt like we were at a friend's house. The hospitality was amazing.. The room was spacious, very clean with amazing view. The personnel was always smiley and willing to help us (f.e they organised for us a private tour in Ancient Messene) and they all complied with the health standards (about covid)! The food was delicious ..

Great hotel at great location in the middle of olive trees. Amazing view on the Messini bay from the rooms and from the infinity pool. Modern and spacy rooms. The food was just delicious and the service was great. Very nice beach just down the road from the hotel. Pet friendly hotel and a wonderful and friendly dog Rex is part of it. Definitely recommend and will come again soon!

I stayed at the White Donkey Hotel for 4 days / 3 nights and it was absolutely magical! The moment I arrived I immediately regretted that I did not extend my stay longer. From arrival to departure, the staff, receptionist, 3 hosts, bartender, and house maid all provided top class service and were available at all times for any of my needs and requests. I unfortunately came alone this year but the hotel staff did not make me feel that way as they treated me like a friend. The property is very well kept, clean, warm and welcoming. The view is breathtaking and the property’s location is a short distance up a hill away from the main road. Other than the tranquil music being played by the pool, you are not exposed to any other noise or people. The rooms were spotless, very large, and were supplied with a tremendous amount of amenities, toiletries, and towels. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well each night. The room even comes with a telescope to view the stars that litter the night sky. Wow! There are only 25 rooms so the hotels isn’t “busy” and there is plenty of space around the pool to relax. Everyone took advantage of the pool as it’s beautiful, large, and accommodating for the amount of guests the hotel has at any given time. In my package, breakfast and dinner were included which just made everything so much easier and saves you a lot of time. The food was some of the best I’ve had at a hotel and the portions were very reasonable. Rex, the property guard dog, is a rescue and might look intimidating at first but have no fear he is the sweetest boy, loves attention, and was very well behaved around everyone including children. He will join you for dinner every night. I did not have a single complaint throughout my entire stay and nor do I have any suggestions. That’s how great this place is. I highly recommend this place for you and your family. The value is unbeatable!

We paid 215 EUR/night. Below our assessment taking into account the high price paid for Greece and the fact that this is meant to be a 4* hotel: Positive: + Well kept hotel grounds and nice views Negative: - Very poor not to say no internet at all. Simple tasks like checking email aren’t possible (misleading advertising on their website). We were told it’s an issue about the area but when we went to the beach (less than 1km away) we could use the beach bar’s wifi perfectly - Invaded by bees! It’s impossible to relax, hygiene issues at breakfast due to the bees being everywhere on the food - Poor breakfast selection for a 4*. Filtered coffee only (Nespresso style coffee is chargeable), no fresh orange juice etc. - Bed are queen not king size (again misleading advertising on their website) - No black out curtains in the room on several windows. Daylight prevents proper sleep from sunrise time - Standard cleaning is every 2nd or 3rd day. You need to ask for your room to be cleaned everyday. Not a 4* service Last but not least, when we complained, the General Manager (Georgia) treated us with absolute disrespect. Note: It’s highly likely that there are plenty of false reviews on here given the very limited time this hotel has been opened, the large amount of reviews received in such a short time and that nearly all reviews are 5*. Looking at and comparing with reviews on Booking.com, there are a lot more of (real) customers who have commented negatively about this hotel.

Perfectly located hotel with scenic view. The staff is very professional and caring, you can really tell they love what they are doing and want to make your stay the best possible. We booked our room including breakfast and dinner, which was the best choice. We were able to try a variety of local dishes all times. The breakfast buffet has everything you could ask for and the staff is always preparing something for you if you have any special requests (in our case glutenfree). We also made use of the E-Bike rental they offer, which has been a great experience to discover the area of Kalamata a little more. The Hotel is very new and overall very modern. Perfect for a getaway!
