Great apartments! Amazing view and good location, can recommend strongly.

With an iconic view of Paleochora, the apartments are perfectly situated to experience a sense of space and calm. Light, stylish and comfortably furnished, with cool cotton sheets and excellent beds, the apartments are a delight to return to after a day on the beach or hiking the fantastic range of local walks. I particularly enjoyed looking out in the morning to see which side of Paleochora offered the most inviting sea for swimming, before heading down to the town. You can easily drive, but we prefer to walk, the routes down are a great way of exploring the different aspects of this area. To the left the road leads down to a junction across which is a tiny settlement, with a church, which brings you onto the track to the campsite bar and on to the Anidri beach and gorge. The path almost directly in front if the house, zig-zags more steeply down to a church amongst the olive trees, and the flat fields of goats and wild flowers behind the school. This was my favourite and shortest route up from the shops and the church provides shade and the chance to rest if your bag is heavy. A third route through the houses of Panorama is colourful and varied with changing views along the coast and across the town to the fort. After dinner, this 10 minute walk suited us very well and ensured a great nights sleep.

I had an amazing stay in White House Apartments at Palaiochora, Crete. Apartments are new and very nicely decorated - there is everything you need. The house is on a hill thus it has an wonderful view to the small city of Palaiochora and the sea. However to go back from the city center or the beach you have to go up that hill, therefore it is good to have a car. We have also met the owners which were very nice and welcoming people. That was a great choice, highly recommended!
