I am outraged at the dishonesty. I came twice to board in good conditions. The prices are expensive! The third time I come back, light onshore wind, the conditions visually seem OK but deceptive. After 3 min of sailing, impossible to do the planning I want to return the material. No understanding of the staff which obliges me to pay 1 hour of loc. This is frankly not the way to treat customers on the pretext that you have to earn your crust. Very disappointed with the dishonest behavior !!!

Anfängerschulung an.
This is the worst meltemi spot I've ever surfed! It starts with the sharp rocks right across the bank. You can only get into the water via a narrow rubber mat on the construction site. Then it gets deep immediately. Beach start in the shore area is therefore not possible. The first few hundred meters there is very little wind, 3-4 Bft, probably due to a cover. It's difficult with the water start and after that it's time to bob up and down! But then it comes: Suddenly 7 gusts pop into your sail! If you are not ready for it, it will tear you apart! When driving in you have to hit the rubber mat again, of course, otherwise ouch and the material may be broken. This "surf school" actually offers (for a lot of money) beginner training at this spot. Of course this is a joke! Training for beginners at offshore 2-8 Bft is impossible, as beginners will then disappear on the horizon within minutes. To prevent this, the beginners are tied to buoys! This is not how you learn to windsurf, it is primarily frustration. You should definitely save the money. There is total order at the surf school. It is mostly populated by open-minded, bad-tempered Austrians. Good atmosphere is the opposite of that. There are a thousand better spots / surf centers in Greece ... The island in itself is beautiful like most of the Cyclades islands. However, due to all the jet set luxury chic stuff, it is firstly completely overpriced and secondly overall depraved. Original Greece can no longer be found here at all. The picturesque old town streets of the capital only serve as a backdrop for Italian luxury clothing shops ...

Once again this summer the same kindness, same professionalism and same pleasure to ride in Kalafatis, thanks to Pezi, Willy and the brilliant team on the beach. All the best and see you next year on the best windsurfing spot, VIncent

Not worth what you pay. Probably the worst spot I have been to, reeeally gusty with huge holes. The sails are ok, boards older and not even carbon. Considering the price not enough in my eyes. Then they charge you 3% extra for card payment - outrageous! Sorry but I was disappointed. Rather go to Naxos where you also have much cheaper accommodation and everything else ;)

What a place to surf! All of Pezi's equipment is in excellent condition, and is always selected from top of the range windsurfing brands. The sails themselves are kept semi-rigged on the beachfront, making it easy to change your sail with variable wind conditions. And if you yourself don't feel quite adept at doing this, the windsurfing staff are always around to help out! Having surfed here for 12 years, the team are always friendly, knowledgable and full of tips on how to nail that perfect front loop! They also cover a range of languages (German, English, Italian, Russian), making for comfortable lesson instruction. All in all, you would be mad to miss out on this windsurfing spot!

Stunning location and plenty of wind, though be prepared for the gusts when the Meltemi does its thing! The equipment was excellent, many of the latest kit; I was especially pleased to try a Fanatic Blast which is probably the perfect board for this location when it's windy. The sails were also new and in top shape, mainly GA brand. Pezi and his staff were really friendly and a lot of fun to chat with. I had the best time.

The service at Pezi Huber windsurf centre is like no other, truly fantastic. I have been windsurfing for almost 10 years, and can safely say that Pezi Huber windsurf centre offers the best equipment you will find in the Cyclades (and possibly the whole of Greece). From freestyle boards to slalom boards, you won't be disappointed. And if you are just starting to surf, they have boards and sails of all levels ready for you to use and be in the water within 15 minutes. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and while not all speak amazing English, there is always a great range of spoken languages. From German, to English, to Russian, to Italian - and sometimes Greek - there's something for everyone. The windsurf spot is most likely one of the best you will find. However, if you are a beginner, be warned you will find it a little challenging going out alone due to the high speed gusts which can occasionally take you by surprise. But don't be nervous, there are plenty of experienced staff who offer well priced lessons for all levels. Nevertheless, for the majority of the time, the wind here is constant and amazing to surf, perfect for surfers starting out as well as the slalom surfers and more experienced freestyle and extreme surfers. And if you are worried that when you hit the water you may never see your loved ones again, they have a life boat and dedicated rescue service for those in dire need of it! The surfing is perfect, and there is plenty of good clothing gear on offer, such as shoes and wetsuits at no extra cost for you to use. This is great for protecting yourself against small cuts from the reef bed. This is my favourite place to surf from all the places I have surfed in my 10 years, and I look forward to coming back again real soon.
