Κ	Κωστας Σκουφας on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Επιλέξαμε το ξαθερι για την βάφτιση του γιου μας και δεν το μετανιωσαμε καθόλου. Εξαιρετικό μαγαζί, όλα ήταν άψογα. Γευστικότατο φαγητό, (φοβερό γαμοπιλαφο μεταξύ άλλων), καθαρή ρακή, πρόσχαρο και εξυπηρετικό προσωπικό! Η ζωντανή κρητική μουσική υπέροχη! Ο ιδιοκτήτης έκανε τα πάντα για μια υπέροχη δεξίωση! We chose the xatari for the baptism of our son and we did not regret it. Great shop, everything was impeccable. Delicious food, (awesome crapper among others), pure raki, cheerful and helpful staff! The live Cretan music is wonderful! The owner did everything for a great party!
Χ	Χρήστος Τσαπακίδης on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Κλείσαμε στο Ξαθέρι για Σάββατο βράδυ, ενώ οι επιλογές μας ήταν ήδη περιορισμένες λόγω διαθεσιμότητας. Ωστόσο, μείναμε πάρα πολύ ευχαριστημένοι. Ο χώρος είναι καθαρός και καλαίσθητος, αν και αρκετά μίνιμαλ ως προς τη διακόσμηση. Το φαγητό μάς άρεσε πάρα πολύ, ιδιαίτερα το κοτόπουλο απάκι, το οποίο δεν είχαμε ξαναδοκιμάσει πουθενά αλλού. Η σαλάτα Ξαθέρι ήταν αρκετά καλή, όπως και το μπιφτέκι, το οποίο ήταν όμως κάπως στεγνό. Τα σκιουφιχτά ήταν αρκετά νόστιμα ώστε να παραγγείλουμε και δεύτερο πιάτο. Οι μυζηθρόπιτες και η μελιτζανοσαλάτα δεν είχαν κάτι το ιδιαίτερο. Το γαμοπίλαφο ήταν μέτριο. Εντύπωση μας έκανε που ενώ ζητήσαμε σφουγγάτο και μας είπαν ότι δεν έχουν, στο διπλανό τραπέζι σερβιρίστηκε κανονικά (λίγη ώρα μετά από εμάς). Τα άλλα πιάτα δεν τα θυμάμαι :( . Ο μαρουβάς πολύ καλός (9€/λίτρο), ενώ μας κέρασαν ρακή στην αρχή και λικεράκι στο τέλος. Αν δεν είστε ιδιαίτερα φίλοι της κρητικής μουσικής, να ξέρετε ότι υπάρχει ζωντανό πρόγραμμα το Σάββατο βράδυ. Ο λογαριασμός βγήκε γύρω στα 17€/άτομο. We booked in Xatheri for Saturday night, while our options were already limited due to availability. However, we were very happy. The space is clean and elegant, although quite minimal in terms of decoration. We really liked the food, especially the chicken apaki, which we had never tasted anywhere else. The Xatheri salad was quite good, as was the burger, which was somewhat dry. The skewers were delicious enough to order a second course. The cheese pies and the eggplant salad had nothing special. The wedding pilaf was mediocre. We were impressed that while we asked for a sponge and they told us that they did not have it, it was served normally at the next table (a little while after us). I do not remember the other dishes :(. Marouvas is very good (9 € / liter), while we were treated to raki at the beginning and liqueur at the end. If you are not very fond of Cretan music, know that there is a live program on Saturday night. The bill was around € 17 / person.
I	Iakovos Sifakis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Καθαρό. Ευγενικό προσωπικό. Καλές γεύσεις. Αρκετά καθαρή ατμόσφαιρα (η κουζίνα βρίσκεται σε άλλο χώρο). Δυστυχώς, ΑΠΑΡΑΔΕΚΤΗ τσικουδιά και κρασί! Με 0,15 € ανά καραφάκι επιπλέον κόστος θα μπορούσε να σερβίρεται άριστη τσικουδιά, ώστε να την πίνουν και όσοι έχουν ξαναπιεί, χωρίς παρενέργειες. Η βαθμολογία είναι για τα υπόλοιπα (για τα ποτά μηδέν). Clean. Polite personnel. Good flavors. Quite clean atmosphere (the kitchen is in another area). Unfortunately, unacceptable tsikoudia and wine! At an additional cost of 0.15 € per serving, you could have an excellent tsikoudia served to drinkers and those who have drunk again, with no side effects. The score is for the rest (for drinks zero).
