Αλλά για τους παλιούς Λιβαδίτες που γνωρίζουν την οικογένεια Ξηρογιάννη από τις αρχές του 1900 που πρωτοάνοιξε η επιχείρηση, είναι το καλύτερο παντοπωλείο του κόσμου. Η επίσκεψη είναι πάντοτε εκπαιδευτική εμπειρία και ψυχολογική συνέδρια χαρη στον καλοσυνάτο κ. Γιάννη και τον πάντοτε χαμογελαστό Νίκο που τον χαιρετάνε και οι πέτρες των πεζοδρομίων της Λιβαδειάς. Κατ'οίκον παράδοση ακόμα και στα πιο απόκρημνα καλντερίμια του Ζαγαρά (της ορεινής συνοικίας της πόλης) και πάνω απ'όλα χαμόγελο και καλή διάθεση! Χώρος πολιτισμού και διατήρησης ιστορικής μνήμης πάνω απ'όλα. Μην ξεχάσετε να τσεκαρετε το πινακάκι που ο κ. Γιαννης γράφει την έμπνευση της ημέρας και να περιεργαστείτε καθε γωνιά του καταστήματος που βγήκε σαν από παλιό ασπρόμαυρο ελληνικό κινηματογράφο. Στου Ξηρογιάννη δεν αγοράζεις τρόφιμα, αγοράζεις εμπειρία... The best grocery in town I would say. But for the old Livadites who have known the Xirogiannis family since the beginning of 1900 when the company first opened, it is the best grocery store in the world.
