For seven years I have been in great agony even on very high doses of strong opioids. I have had over ten different procedures in the UK at London's finest private hospitals (Saint Mark's, the Royal Free, the Wellington and so on), but none provided very much relief. This has all put an enormous strain on my work, family and well-being. Seeking treatment at this clinic is the best decision I have ever made and I only wish I had done it years ago. From deciding to seek Dr Stamatiadis and Dr Gkegkes' opinion at their very friendly practice in Athens; to getting a very insightful diagnosis that all other doctors had failed to consider; to being scheduled for surgery; and now to being almost entirely pain free post-surgery, has been a matter of only a few short weeks. That's more progress and success in about a month in Athens than in the previous seven years in the UK. I now feel I can get on with the rest of my life as a father, husband and business owner and put the last few years of pain and stagnation behind me, once and for all. Stamatiadis, Geges, and the whole team over several months, in what required several procedures to address. I felt inclined to select them after having visited at least 10 (!) colorectal practices in various countries, they are by far the best in several ways, both professional and personal ones. The medical advice may at times sound stern, but time and again, the team has proven to me there is no going wrong in trusting them - almost blindly. They are true professionals, extremely responsive, very knowledgeable, understanding and attentive to one's concerns and questions (and I assure you, I had many, many of those), and gave me abundant ground to get all clarifications I needed before feeling comfortable to proceed with anything. The team's high professionalism is also topped up with unpretentiousness, discrete humor and a human touch. And while no medical experience or procedure is fun, I honestly have always felt comfortable in their hands. To the team: Thanx so much for your care!

First of all, I found that both physicians were extremely knowledgable on the subject, and were able to put me at ease regarding my specific situation and my treatment plan. I was able to be booked in for surgery quickly and with regards to my follow up care, I was comforted to have access to the clinic at regular intervals to be seen. I was also able to call to ask questions and would be quickly seen if I was in any discomfort. I would also like to take the opportunity to recognize the team within the practice; the practice secretary and nursing staff are extremely compassionate, caring, and will go over and above to help in any way. Mr Gkegkes as well is extremely responsive to messages and has always been happy to help answer any questions I have had, along with providing explanations to anything needed. Even months after my surgery, Mr Gkegkes has shown care and interest in keeping in touch and asking about my wellbeing. A huge thank you to the whole team!
