★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food acceptable, prices not quite, higher than the average on Greece. Service is slow. The other taverna in the village is preferred if you want to eat good and not to waist time for waiting to bring you the meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not very happy with the experience this year. The food is just acceptable and i think that the the prises are a bit salty for it .
Maybe the new management needs some time to find its "steps".
Not happy with the service until we got Dimos to serve us.
I will give a try next year.
Just a note, Fish is fresh and well grilled or fried.
Salads just ok and i was not happy at all with "mezedes" (small plates that comes with tsipouro).

We’ve been literally eating here the whole stay in Platanias. When the noon sun gets too strong, you just retreat in the shadows where they have quite a spacious terrace under a big old tree, and eat :)
Food is great and tasty in general, I recommend the Zucchini balls, but go for seafood or whatever else you like. Usually very nice staff, may tend to get a bit busy at peak hours, but relax, it’s Greece, everything will be ok :))
