You can definitely tell if people love their job and this is exactly what everyone at Jewellery Melissinos fells: they simply love jewellery. If you happen to be at Naxos island, don't forget to stop by to take a look at their wonderfully unique pieces!

Very nice shop with fantastic jewelries and the owner is very nice. I came every year and you can trust the quality of the gold.

During our stay in Naxos, I looked up jewelry stores on TripAdvisor and bookmarked Melissinos to visit based on the good reviews and because it was the only jewelry store that had more than a few good reviews. It actually took us a few days to find it as the map on Tripadvisor (as of June 2016) was wrong and we weren't able to find it initially. I'm so glad we were able to find it as visiting Melissinos and meeting Christina, her lovely mother, and her husband is one of my favorite memories of Naxos! FYI: if you look on Google Maps for Melissinos Jewellery, the correct location is there now. It's located a few stores away from the delicious, recommended Scirocco restaurant, and is right next to a ferry ticket office. Melissinos also has 2 stores -- its second store is just a few stores away from the store that's next to the ferry ticket office. I noticed that the store next to the ferry ticket office has a mix of both affordable and more expensive jewelry, 14-18k gold and diamonds, etc., whereas the other store a few stores away has more silver/affordable pieces. It's totally worth it to check out both stores! I ended up purchasing from both stores. What I loved about both stores was that their jewelry selection was classy, beautiful, and high-quality, especially when compared to other jewelry stores on Naxos. I visited many in Naxos town before finally finding Melissinos and I'm so glad I finally found them :). Christina, her mother, and her husband went so above and beyond with their wonderful service and made me feel so welcome. I was looking for jewelry for my mother, sisters-in-law, and myself, and Christina was so helpful, patient, and came up with great recommendations based on everyone's preferred style. I ended up buying a gold necklace, earrings with aquamarines, and a beautiful aquamarine ring. The ring was too large for my finger, so Christina went above and beyond and had it sent to Athens to resize and had it flown back in time for me to pick up before we left Naxos for the next island! Christina and her mother and husband are just such lovely people, with very warm personalities. I never felt pressured to buy anything and they had the flawless balance of being super helpful but never intrusive. I had so much fun talking to Christina and her family about Greece and Naxos. Meeting Christina and her family was honestly one of my favorite memories of Naxos island! I wish her and her family every success as they contemplate opening another store on Naxos or on another island. To Christina and her family, I hope to see you again one day and in the meantime, efharisto poli and wishing you all the best!!

The owner of this store is so very lovely! We spent quite a bit of time browsing her beautiful store and chatted with her and also met her father and husband. They were all so kind. Her jewelry is BEAUTIFUL and we left with quite a few purchases. Don't come here unless you want to spend some money because you won't be able to resist all of the beautiful jewelry! It is all very reasonably priced though!
