The way is worth it, even if it is very warm, as a reward there is an enchanting view. Don't forget good shoes and drinking water!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been to Ainos many times bit this year it was finally my 1st time walking to the highest peak..Megas Soros...and even though the weather was not so great, crazy clouds...I still enjoyed every moment....every other moment you could see through the clouds a bit of Ithaca or skala or Sami....amazing

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Protected natural parc on top of the highest mountain of Kefalonia. Rocky hiking trails with stunning views on different sides. Bring firm shoes and a jacket for the wind. It can be much colder than the lower area's. The parc is very green with high old trees and many birds and other animals.
