★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gets busy, especially on Saturday with traffic from the farmer's market, or on nights when there is a performance at the open air theatre. Also, tends to accumulate water when it rains, especially near the north (sea) end. But, you can't beat the price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Convenient parking but be careful of scams, got approached and asked to pay 10euro for 2 hours parking. After the man disappeared realised there was no signs or booths stating prices. Be warned

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ATTENTION! Scammers demand 10 euros for parking here. Do not give them any money!!!!! The parking is free.. Unfortunately, we fell for it and regret to this day to have given the man the money.
Apart from that a good, central parking lot, but usually already full.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent the whole day here, the car park was so much fun. We enjoyed the fact that it was free and could wander round looking at all the battered Cretan cars, which looked like they had been in a banger race. Scrapped up some road kill for lunch to throw on the portable BBQ. Five stars, couldn’t recommend a better car park, it was so much nicer than the sandy beach with clear sparkling water.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A free car park that gets very busy. Its close to the harbour & old town. A kid was hanging around & showed us to a parking spot as it was very busy & demended €20 (cheeky git) but parking is very limited in the area unless you can find somewhere on the back roads. We gave him €10 euro. Wish I had read the reviews first.
