★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As I sit in my living room listening to my wife play the piano up so far from Athens here in Seattle, WA I am starting at one of at least self portrait of Yanis of him sitting out side of his shop minus the black eye he had when we came by to pick up one of three paintings we are so luck to have. I enjoy this painting because it draws me back to walking in the market stumbling into Yanis to our great enjoyment. I have no idea of their value because they represent such great times and fond memories of meeting Yanis and spending time on which paints worked for us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have visited Athens several times over the years but it was in 2018 whilst strolling around Plaka that I first came across Yanis's gallery. The bright colors first caught my eye and obviously lured me into his gallery for a closer perusal. Needless to say I was blown away and my partner and I ended up purchasing four of his paintings. These now have pride of place in our cottage situated on the West Coast some hour's drive from Cape Town. The paintings are always positively commented on by our visitors. And finally - my son subsequently sent me two more of his paintings, depicting the Acropolis and surrounds, for my birthday. Thank you for your work Yanis.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I saw the painting of this wave (attached) from distance and I immediately knew it will be the crown jewel of our new house in Jerusalem. It was 11 months ago in Athens. We entered our new house 3 days ago. Yanis' wave was the first anchor which our entire living room decoration circled. Amazing piece of art created by a fascinating artist. I spent over an hour talking to Yanis and eventually took only the wave. I could spend the whole day talking to him and taking many more paintings... It was the highlight of my Athens visit - I recommend to make it also yours.
