Very beautiful place, with amazing views and everything you need to sit with friends! The road is a bit strange, as it is full of turns, but in 10-15 minutes, you reach the ivy by car where you can park the car and enjoy the view. It needs attention because there are holes in the road, which are usually covered with tires and at night the place is not lit!

Ωραίο μέρος για να μάθεις οδήγηση. Προσοχή στις τρύπες και στις κατολισθήσεις! Καταπληκτική θέα επίσης και ένα μέρος για να ηρεμήσεις!
Nice place to learn to drive. Beware of holes and landslides! Amazing views also a place to relax!

Take care that the road has giant pits of death because of stolen equipment.

Desolation of Smaug :) Dystopian feeling, great view of the city and a quiet place. Lot of hungry mosquitoes tho.

With arguably the best view of the city available, it's a great place for a picnic or to fly a kite. Care needs to be taken though as the roads are abandoned and are quite dangerous, with rocks and gaping holes due to missing manhole covers and drainage grates.

A dream that wasn't meant to be... This never-to-be community for all of its beauty holds a sad story. The idea of a new community was born in the early 80s and the local magistrate along with the National Technical Chamber (TEE) layed the foundation and built the roads, electricity transmission system and rain gutters system. Naturalist Movements opposed the project, their case got to court and the area was pronounced a forest so you cannot buy land. As luck would have it, everything that was already built now slowly decay. The roads are treacherous to drive as they are peppered with stones, many gutter covers are missing and the asphalt has cracked and split. What still remains is arguably the greatest view of the city below and a gorgeous outlook towards the sunset and mount Olympus.

Best view in Thessaloniki. You can see the whole gulf of thermaikos. Best way to reach it is via Panorama. Follow the road that says "Platanakia". 15:00 - 16:00 is the best time to visit because of the wonderful sunset view.

A surreal place. A whole Lay-out of a city that was never built. Lamp posts, sewer pipes, cup-de-sacs. No houses. Huge scar on on a pristine mountain. It’s worth seeing but be extra careful with your car, especially if you are coming at night. Years of small landslides have tumbled tons of sharp rocks into the broad subdivision-entrance-style road. They are tire-poppers or oil pan-destroyers for sure. If that’s not bad enough many of the sewer manhole covers are missing so if you aren’t looking carefully you might loose a tire in one of the many wholes on the road.
