★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This appears to be a place where locals go. While ordering the Gyros, do note that the “portion” comes like separate meat shreds with pita alongside.
Also the rice plate is not pilaff, its plain thick grained rice (parboiled rice ?).
It is very reasonably priced place, the Falafel ? plate is a good deal.
The bread ? they provide is not very high quality. I wish the staff explained what comes along with the order, because they are all spelt in the same way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m as American tourist as they come but this place was the bomb after a morning swimming and walking around in the sun. The Greek Salad was a mountain of delicious tomatoes, cheese, bell peppers and onions and the prices were a bargain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Where to start? Outstanding! We went there by chance first then on purpose. The service it's outstanding, the quality of the food as well. We tried souvlakis in many different restaurants ("while in Greece....") But the once at Zaxos are hands down the best! Also to try the falafel. Truly one of the best places in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best giro i have ate in Greece. Without french fries and ketchup/ mustard as the north part of greece does it. We ordered portion of french fries that was like home made. Just perfect and delicious. Less then average price place. Busy on sundays on lunch time, as well as all other places around
