β β β β β Ad. Korais from Milos to Ios in windy conditions. Nice old-style ferry with friendly staff and enough space. Good basic food onboard. Very good value for money.

Korais: Conveniently enough, the ham and cheese toast (which is regulated by law to cost 1.45β¬ in order to avoid the malpractices of the past), is always sold out/unavailable without further explanation. Resulting of course on travelers having to buy similar, yet unregulated products for more than double the price. Common thievery.

β β β β β The ships are old and ran late both times we were traveling from and to Sifnos. The seating in the lounge is not numbered and not comfortable. On the way back, after all cars boarded the ship and the ship departed, they kept the drivers in the garage for more than 45min so that they could rearrange the cars and fit more of them later on. I think it's fair to assume that when you pay ~100β¬ for a boat ticket (passenger+car), you get to travel in the lounge and not stay in the garage, in 40C heat, rearranging cars.

β β β β β I booked ferry tickets with months ago for two routes and I arranged the entire holiday around these two routes. With few days before the first trip they cancel the both sailes, without any warning, with no ferry options instead for those days. It was happen that I booked that ferry tickets through a Greek travel agency, which help me with this issue, even it wasn't easy neither for them to do this, because the Zante Ferries doesn't cooperate at all, they are very hard to be caught even to the phone. Instead to enjoy my holiday I was forced to solve this situation, to change all my hotel bookings for other days and to pay extra for it. In plus, at each of both trips, the ferry comes in the port with one hour delay. Taking in consideration that these delays have place in middle of the night, the arrival time for each time was extremely inconvenient. In conclusion, I hardly recommend to avoid as much you can this ferry company. I used a lot of Greek ferry companies during the time, but never I experienced a such a disappointment and a such a bad experience.
