I didn't visit it internally but externally it is a very imposing temple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ο ναός αναφέρεται στους χάρτες της Google ως Ζωοδόχος Πηγή. Αυτό είναι λάθος. Τους έχω στείλει και αναφορά λάθους αλλά δεν συγκινήθηκαν. Το σωστό είναι Ναός της Ευαγγελίστριας.
The temple is listed on Google Maps as a Living Source. This is wrong. I also sent them a bug report but they were not moved. The right one is the Church of the Annunciation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ειναι η Μητρόπολη της Καρύταινας κτισμένη τον τον 19 αιώνα με περίτεχνο μαρμάρινο κωδωνοστάσιο του 1864 . Τόπος προσκυνήματος με πολλά ιερά αντικείμενα.
It is the Metropolis of Karytaina built in the 19th century with an ornate marble bell tower in 1864. Place of pilgrimage with many sacred objects.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Επιβλητικός ναός αλλά δεν έχει ιδιαίτερης αξίας αγιογραφίες, ούτε τέμπλο. Θα δείτε μόνο τη χρυσοκεντητη σαρκοφάγο του Επιταφίου που είναι μοναδική. Αν φτάσετε ως εκεί δείτε την απ έξω, το εσωτερικό δεν λέει πολλά.
An imposing temple, but it does not have any valuable hagiographies or icon screen. You will only see the golden-eyed sarcophagus of the Epitaph which is unique. If you get there as you see it from the outside, the interior does not say much.
