★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πολύ ωραίος και όμορφος ιερός ναός χτισμένος σχεδόν μέσα στο λόφο. Δυστυχώς σήμερα που πήγα δεν είχε νερά παρόλο που στις φωτογραφίες που είχα δει φαινόταν να είναι άφθονα. Σε ερώτηση που έκανα στον πάτερ Μιχαήλ μου είπε ότι φέτος είναι μεγάλη η λειψυδρία. Μακάρι να επανέλθει το νερό και να έχει την ομορφιά που έχουμε δει σε άλλες φωτογραφίες.
 Very nice and beautiful sanctuary built almost inside the hill. Unfortunately today I went there was no water although in the photos I had seen it seemed to be plentiful. When I asked Father Michael, he told me that there is a lack of water this year. May the water return and have the beauty we have seen in other photos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zoodochos Pigi church (the Source of Life, I.e. Jesus Christ) - is a remarkable picturesque church, located in the small and intresting village Kefalari.
The church is built on a mountain cliff (Mount Chaon), just above the beautiful springs of Erasinos river.
At the back side of the church there is an inspiring cave called Golgotha, with some icons.
The first church was initially built at 1634 right above the the spring of Erasinos river.
It was destroyed in 1918, after an explosion in the German ammunition depots that were beside, and due to its importance, it was rebuilt in 1924, while the bell tower was built in 1955.
The place is a well-known pilgrimage site for the Greek people. The church celebrates on the day of its name; it is a moving celebration, taking place five days after Easter.
Bottom line: an inspiring site, with a great importance for the Greek people. If you visit in the area of Nafplio, it is highly recomended to dedicate a visit of few hours in this unique and beautiful site!!!
