★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is ok - classic Greek cuisine. The staff speaks only Greek and they are quite rude... Tavena has its own part of the beach with sunbeds that are charged, but I advise you to choose another part of the beach because the service is poor.

In 15 minutes after we ordered they brought the food on our table, even though the place was crowded.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location, tables on the beach, great view. The food is excellent, very good portions, good prices, great staff, excellent service, they even know a bit of Romanian :) The best place to eat in Kalamitsi, especially for lunch, when you can take a short swim before the food arrives :)

Food was good service was a bit slow.
Do not recommend the fried calmari
Nice touch is the tables in the sand. However if you go later than 7-8 bring a jacket as they haven't thought about giving away blankets.

The amount of food is generous and the prices are reasonable. The food is well prepared and the staff is able to service tourists speaking different languages. I have nothing negative to add to my experience.
I recommend the stuffed kalamari.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice team there. They were really kind and made a bit small talk with every guest. The food was tasty as well. We had a Salad, suflaki and chicken steak. Especially the meat was really good marinated and everything was nice fresh. We enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend it. The restaurant is located at the beach and looks nice.
