★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food at AB is so much better than the restaurants in the old square of Makrinitsa! We even decided to come back a second time :). The hospitality of the owner and cook, the cosiness of the restaurant and the magnificent view of Volos and the Pagestic Gulf were also amazing! But the quality of the food is best! (And for a very reasonable price as well, about 15 eu per person).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a first dinner there as arriving Makrinitsa. Not only place with a stunning view, food was good as well. Had a delicious homemade meat balls and finger likin' good tzatziki. Loved the vibe and Maria, the young waitress, is such a lovely girl. Simple place, but has its own romantic vibe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a hidden gem! The quality of the food and the hospitality of the owners exceed by far any other place we have eaten at in Pelion. You simply HAVE to taste the rooster and the spentzofai (spicy Greek sausages with peppers and tomato sauce). Excellent!

Kostis is a highly dedicated gardener, who spends long days, for months on end, working the high mountain land to harvest herbs, fruit, vegetables, and mountain tea which is sold from his little shop next to this family restaurant (his sister runs the restaurant). I look forward to visiting again. ?
