★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice beach but the staff at this place made us feel very unwelcome. They all looked like they were forced to swallow some wasps and were loathed to take our drinks order. Not good for food but okay for a drink and a lie on the beach on a pricey sun-bed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We’ve been treated very poorly by the old man working there. He wanted to place us wherever he wanted and not where we wanted. He puts a towel on each sunbed set and claims it’s taken but he also takes off the towels from the sets he wants you to stay at. He was trying to convince us to take one umbrella and 4 sunbeds instead of two complete sets like we wanted and were about to pay for. Worst experience ever, he had no filters on, treating us like garbage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huh this was a little weird there. First the patron did not want to give us one of the tables with comfortable chairs, as this table was only for people ordering bottles of hard alcohol. It was 7 pm on a Sunday and nobody ordering bottles of hard alcohol was in sight... Then it took ages until they brought our drinks, and when they arrived, the waiter managed to spill most of them across our table...
The positive is that in that area there is a really nice beach, just 10 minutes from Heraklion airport away. You have a good view on big ships running into the port as well as on airplanes arriving in Heraklion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The price of the seats is raised, the beach compared to other places in irakleio is pretty mediocre, the service is fast and good, the music is kinda too loud and not my type (summer beat stuff), overall its a good place to be for people that like pop and don't care that the sea is blurry, also the rocks hurt and every now and then airplanes go by disturbing the place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The closest beach to Heraklion, Crete. Visited May 2022. Two sunbeds and an umbrella with a lock box for your valuables was 8 Euros. Friendly staff and good service. The beach is mostly sand with some rocks when you first enter the ocean. Ocean temperature was about 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Definitely recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice beach right in front of the airport so perfect spot for plane spotting. The bar is also very nice, not too crowded and very good prices. Sunbeds and umbrella set is 5e which is way cheaper than other famous beaches on Crete. The water is not the best, not crystal clear, but it was clean. We decided to spend here out last day on Crete and enjoy watching planes.
