Best Self-catering accommodation in Greece

A	Anke on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positiv: Perfekte Lage direkt am Strand, riesige Terrasse mit vier bequemen Holzliegen, einen großen Esstisch und genügend Sonnenschirmen. Ohnehin super, dass es morgens auf der Terrasse Schatten gibt und man in Ruhe frühstücken kann und man dafür abends lange Sonne hat. Großes Bad mit riesiger Dusche und neben einem der Schlafzimmer noch eine extra Toilette und Waschbecken. Das Meer ein Traum, ganz sauber, und nachts hört man im Bett das Wellenrauschen. Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Vermieter; schnelle und detaillierte Information. Schlüsselübergabe bei Ankunft und Abreise absolut unkompliziert. Viele nette Tavernen in Laufnähe - sowohl am Strand als auch im Ort - und auch ein kleiner Minimarkt direkt an der Ecke; man braucht im Grunde kein Auto.. Negativ: Die Küche hätte besser ausgestattet sein können (es gibt nur das Minimum an Besteck und Kochutensilien, keine vernünftige Schüssel für Salat o.ä., da macht es nicht so viel Spaß, selbst zu kochen). Besonders bedauerlich ist aber, dass die Wohnung eigentlich recht neu ist, aber es Schimmelbildung gibt. Vor allem, wenn man die Schranktüren in der Küche öffnet, ist das sehr unangenehm und der Geruch strahlt stellenweise auch in die anderen Räume aus. Wirklich schade! Es sollte schnell renoviert werden, damit das nicht noch weiter zunimmt..

Brillant taverna next door and a few markets quite close. Everything you need for holiday! I hope to come back next summer..

A	Alice on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: We had an amazing one-week stay in this wonderful apartment in the Northern part of the island. The apartment cannot be closer to the beach. You almost sleep the feet in the water with the relaxing sound of the waves hitting the shore at night. One of the highlights was definitely the beautiful view of the sunset from the balcony. The apartment is spacious, brand new, and has a very big shower. It also has a fan at the ceiling, A/C and mosquito nets at the windows, which gives you many options when it gets hot. There are plenty of restaurants, shops etc close to the accommodation. From Acharavi, you can easily reach other nice parts of the island, like Kassiopi, Sidari, etc. Our host Avramis was very welcoming and helpful. He even allowed us to have a very late checkout after our ferry trip was cancelled. Thanks again Avramis for your hospitality. We will come back with pleasure :-). Negative: Everything was perfect..

The location was superb - right on top of the beach with easy access to anything you need. Extraordinary views each night of the sunset. Avramis was extremely flexible and responsive throughout, including understanding of our uncertainty about whether we could even come or not, due to Covid, and meeting us at the property late in the evening to give us access and show us around.. Negative: The mosquitoes were very annoying but no fault of the owner of course - make sure you take a lot of anti bite stuff!.

The flat was cleaned every other day which was perfectly enough. There are two tavernas next door and a small mini market round the corner (opened everyday till late). Definitely recommended..
