Brand new hotel opened 12 May 2017. Words can't describe how beautiful this hotel is. Arriving on the first day it was clear the hotel had already done a lot of preparation and training. The service has been impeccable and the rooms well appointed large and with a beautiful Greek touch. Breakfast had variety of fresh produce and an optional menu additional to buffet. Cocktails where bright, delicious and unique. Then there is the view - wow! Endless and over 180 degrees across the islands. Located 200m from the town, you're a short walk away from endless shopping and dining opportunities! Beware you may miss dinner because the view of the sunset from the hotel is hard to miss! I would recommend for your honeymoon or anybody looking for a premium experience. Thanks everyone at Absolute you have created a very special place.

Amazing stay in this beautiful hotel. The location is perfect 4 minutes from the city. We were upgraded as the hotel wasn't full right before the start of the season. The service was perfect at any time of the day. Rooms were super super clean! The sunset from the pool is one of the most beautiful on the island. Go there you'll not regret it If I had one tiny thing to improve: the gym is a little bit small but during the low season this was empty.

First of all, they ask people to leave because walking even a little past the gate will cause privacy issues. The windows are very close and u get people invading that space all the time. I completely agree with their policies. Secondly, when I first walked in, it felt like the hotel gave me a big, warm hug. The staff is BEYOND sweet, thoughtful and kind. Its a young staff and they are more than accommodating and kind. Everyone is so upbeat, friendly, and sincere. We will definitely return with our children and stay here. Perfect location! Central to everything! Excellent breakfast and food!! Love love love Absolut!!!

Overall - My husband and I travelled here in September for 4 days and were very disappointed. Firstly, this isn’t a 5* standard hotel so if you’re expecting luxury then you’re not going to get it despite the price you’re paying! We’ve stayed in many 5* hotels around the world but this doesn’t feel like it, feels like a 4* at max. We had requested an upgrade before we arrived because it’s our honeymoon and didn’t get it, even though we later noticed the room next to us at a higher category was empty for the first 3 day’s and they didn’t upgrade us. At checkout they charged us for extras we didn’t consent to including a ferry transfer that took 4 minutes shared with 2 other guests (baring in mind that we didn’t consent to this during the Covid period) they charged us €20. Any opportunity to make extra money from their guests and when we raised our concerns they refused to waver it as a good will gesture Rooms- rooms are very small, cramped and very boxy even though we went for the 3rd category rooms. The sink area is a hanging swing sink with no area to place toiletries or a makeup bag so for females in an island like Mykonos getting ready, it’s very inconvenient. The shower had a sewer smell the entire time and although we informed them and they tried to remove the smell it didn’t go, it was really foul. Breakfast- as a result of Covid I’m assuming, there isn’t a buffet and instead a QR code a la carte menu and you order to your table. Really small selection for a 5* hotel and little vegetarian options! For a 5* you expect an array of options but this is not the case. One morning it took 45 minutes for breakfast to be delivered and when we asked the staff member why it took so long her answer was ‘everyone came at the same time’. We were taken back by this as 10am is a popular breakfast time in an island like Mykonos and you’d expect the staff to be more prepared. Another morning it took 15 min for them to even take my order and the cherry on top is, I asked for a second coffee and got told it would be an extra charge, I was SHOCKED! this is definitely not the level of service you’d expect from a 5* and it felt very insulting when you’re paying €300 a night you get questioned over a second coffee. Staff - management have no autonomy, staff are polite but the management seems to have authority and most staff although polite seem clueless and have to check everything with management

The hotel is a little gem given the location is close to town and is very clean. My room is spacious and has a side seaview while some rooms have a full seaview but I could still enjoy the amazing sunset from the balcony. Staff were very nice and friendly, the pool area is very relaxing and comfortable to spend the day. Breakfast is good too but they charged the second cup of cappuccino/latte which I think should be free as expected from a 5-star hotel. I will stay here again if I return to this island.

Beautiful hotel, very warm, attentive and knowledgable staff who really know the island. Terry in particular had a series of great recommendations that really added to the quality of our stay. Wonderful view of the sea and less than a 10 minute walk into town. Just an absolute joy and we will definitely be visiting again

We stayed here from 26/05/22-29/05/22 in the windmill suite.Excellent property with an even amazing front and back end teams.They went the extra mile to put an umbrella over our private jacuzzi.Highly recommended.

I really don't know why this place has such high rating. The location is pretty convenient but some staff are very unprofessional and the room itself is not great: bed squeaking even just getting up/down, 1 toilet flush button not working, shower water overflowing/not draining properly.
