The trip was through Athens and seven islands in the Cyclades, with a series of ferry crossings, cycle hire and luggage transport. Elpida's recommendations of which islands would be most interesting and best suited to us were all very good choices, as were the hotels that she selected for us. The arrangements and logistics worked perfectly and based on our experience I would highly recommend for anyone arranging a trip to and through Greece.
A	Alan Velecky on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a really enjoyable self-guided cycling tour of the mountainous countryside west of Corinth, with itinerary and hotels organised by Gnosis travel. I dealt with Elpida to plan the holiday, she was very helpful and flexible to accommodate my requirements. I was looking for 100k per day with plenty of climbing, as much off road as possible, and a mix of point to point and circular rides, and she came up with a route that met my requirements really well. What surpassed my expectations was the beauty of the countryside and the lack of traffic, and I really enjoyed going off the beaten track and finding my way by GPS. The hotels booked were comfortable and clean, and the October weather was very pleasant for cycling, mainly sunny but not too warm. The company also allowed me to store my bike bag at their office, and one of their team cycled with me to my first night's hotel in Piraeus. I thoroughly recommend Gnosis Active Travel.
D	Diane Doser on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My daughter (mid-20s) and I (early 60s) took the self-guided bicycling tour of Paros and Naxos in mid-May. We had a wonderful time. The tour was a good mix of archeological sites, beaches, small rural towns and steep hills (with great views at the top). We especially liked our day of touring Antiparos and the Temple of Demeter on Naxos. By having a central location (3 nights on Paros and 4 on Naxos) we were able to adapt the suggested daily itineraries to fit our interests (and stamina) since we did not have to make it from point A to point B. On our "free" day Elpida, our travel agent, was able to arrange a boat tour to Delos and Mykonos for us, which was well worth the additional cost. Our accommodations were excellent and the bicycles were in good working order.

We chose the bike trip in the Peloponnese and didn't regret it at all: beautiful landscapes, the guides with us were amazing and knew so many things, and for the visits in the different sites (Delphi, Olympy, Mystras...), we had a guide speaking our language. A perfect journey, I heartily recommend it!

l	laurie anderson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My sister and I loved our three day hiking trip around Ano Chora - customized hikes in a breathtakingly beautiful part of Greece with its rugged nature undisturbed by human activity, swimming in the turquoise sea on quiet beaches, a private guide in Delphi whose knowledge and passion made our tour all the more memorable. Dimitris was wonderful; he took care of everything for us, it was like having a big brother leading the way. From beginning to end, everything was professional & fun, I would go again in a heartbeat!

From the first moment I contacted them they were a great pleasure to deal with: instantly responsive, extremely efficient, full of good ideas and flat out nice. My fifteen year old son and I started by booking the Menalon Trail trip, but very rapidly this expanded to the most wonderful two week holiday that included several amazing archeological sites, several beautiful beaches and even cycling across Athens :) Our driver/tour leader was fantastic in every way. He became a friend. All our accommodation was thoughtfully chosen. We loved every single minute.

For us, it was the perfect balance of activity. Kostas, our guide, was delightful, informative, helpful, tireless and spontaneous. He took us to beautiful beach front tavernas, showed us where to go for spectacular views, introduced us to Greek dishes we hadn't eaten previously, and improvised with swimming breaks in the Ionian Sea. While it all seemed effortless, it was clear that much thought was put into creating this tour.
