Olive Sea Travel - ATHENS PRIVATE TOURS - Matrozou 38

My husband, our friend and I booked a two day private tour of Delphi and Meteora. Eleftheria, who answered all of my questions and requests, was patient (there were many questions) and very helpful throughout the booking process, as well as the entire trip. The tour was fantastic. Our excellent driver, Yannis, promptly picked us up in Athens at our hotel. He was professional and knowledgeable and shared history and stories of the area during the drive. The scenery and terrain were both beautiful and interesting. We walked down to the temple of Athena and up to Delphi and the stadium. When we were finished Yannis took us to a nearby restaurant for lunch then onto the village of Kastraki at the edge of Meteora. After checking into our hotel Yannis drove us through Meteora to see the sunset. Though clouds hindered the sunset it was absolutely beautiful. Dinner in the town of Kastraki was delicious.The next day was spent with a private tour guide, Giorgio, found by Olive Sea Travel. He was terrific and made the experience more complete. After seeing and learning about a few of the monasteries we stopped at Thermopylae, the location of the Spartans last battle. We also stopped at a seaside restaurant for a late lunch on the way back to Athens. The two day tour was relaxing and very enjoyable.

I had the absolute best tour with this company while on my trip to Greece . The tour guild Petro was so kind and welcoming . He was very informative and he took his time on the tour . I would definitely recommend him and this company again.

We had a great time during our full day Athens tour with Olive Sea. Ioanna and Dimitris (our driver) were great. Very friendly and professional. The Mercedes Benz Van is a plus too! The tour was meant to be a semi-private tour but it turned out to be a large group tour and because of that Ioanna provided the whole group with a tour guide (which is not part of the package originally). My only criticism about our tour is that we paid for hotel transfer and ended up having only 45 minutes at the Parthenon museum (which is neither enough or ideal). And I believe that this would not have happen if the tour was kept as a semi-private / small group as it was suppose to be. Nevertheless, I'm still giving them a 5 star because we got to see a lot in one day and everything - aside from the lack of time at the end - was amazing.

What a great day to spend the day. A private tour where we got to see all the highlights of Athens with the convenience of a private car. Our driver was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of hints for the rest of our trip.

We hired a driver from Olive Sea and Panos was great. At the last minute we decided not to go to Corinth and asked if he could just take us to the sights in Athens. He was very accommodating and took us to the Acropolis, Temple of Zeus, Hadrien’s Gate, the highest point of Athens, the changing of the guards, and more!!!

We had a wonderful day visiting historical sites around Athens. Jimmy, our driver, and Yani, our guide, saw to our every need and comfort. Yani has a wealth of knowledge about Greece, it's culture and it's history. Jimmy went above and beyond to limit the amount of walking we had to do, as one of our guests has mobility issues. Both were pleasant and professional in their efforts to provide us with an informative and memorable tour. Yani gave us choices regarding which sites and/or museums we should visit, always suggesting what would best suit our stamina and mobility as we moved thru the day. We were 4 seniors aged 68 thru early 80's and he kept the pace and tour "doable" for all of us. Stopped mid morning for coffee and ices at a charming cafe. Lunch at a lively and good restaurant in Plaka. Feasted on delicious and well priced traditional Greek favorites. A great day provided by a reputable company with a first class driver and guide.

I had a short time in Athens and wanted to experience as much as I could so I took a half-day tour to the temple of Poseidon and an eight hour tour of Athens. I worked with Dimetra to setup both tours and she was great, Very accommodating and helpful especially when my flights were canceled and I had to rearrange my tours. Christos, Was an excellent tour guide, he was very friendly and helpful with everything we did. The van they used was very nice, clean well serviced. I will use Olive Sea Travel the next time I am in Athens.
