Aenos Hotel - Pl. Vallianou

please correct the description as on google maps as it says it's a 2 stars hotel and on booking.com it's rated as 4 stars. Somewhere, there is a mistake.

The hotel was nice! Everyone was really helpful and friendly! The room was clean and the breakfast was tasty. The location in general is almost perfect! Unfortunately the hotel is located next to a bar with loud music, which didn't let us sleep until they closed at 01.00.

Beautiful modern hotel, all amenties in room. Balconies with views, complimentary breakfast. Situated on Town Square - dozens of upmarket restaurants and bars surround the hotel

Staying at this hotel almost cost me my life. I took a water from the fridge to the beach and when i went i got real thirsty i picked it up to drink only to swallow and burn my mouth with window cleaner. The staff somehow put a bottle of water filled with window cleaner in my fridge and the manager was as apologetic about it as if they forgot to put shampoo in my room he was very relaxed about the situation. They compensated for it with a dinner from the restaurant (which is very low quality) but that didn’t unburn my mouth. In any other country i would report the matter to the police.

We had book a stay with the hotel in August 2021 but because of an emergency we had to cancel out trip to Kefalonia. The hotel generously offered to change our dates and we decided to go in April 2022. The staff was very friendly! They helped us book a car, restaurants and letting us know which sights were open since it was off-season. The hotel is located on the main square of Argostoli which gives it a unique location. I definitely recommend it.

We stayed a week, we had some initial issues with noise (external cause), but these were solved quickly by the staff, and they really engaged to troubleshoot it. The friendliness and service we received is extraordinary. We encountered that friendliness from everyone working there. Very nice and not common in a lot of places. Big thanks to Eleni who did everything to make our stay in the hotel to be as perfect as possible! The rooms are nice, not big, but have a nice vibe, get one with a balcony (almost all have). The beds are great, including the linen. Everything was clean. Shower and bathroom are good as well, modern, nothing to fault. The room had some room still for a chair, the limited space was used well offering drawers for your clothes etc. AC worked well, temperature drops fast once switched on. The breakfast is good. Create your own yoghurt, with choice of nuts, honey, cereals. Different breads and many choice to put on it, including locally produced items. Fresh fruits, sweet stuff, good coffee/tea, etc. Location is excellent, next to nice lively square (not TOO lively), LOTS of good options to eat, drink, relax. Parking spaces are found back side of hotel in streets, we had no difficulties to find a spot. In general, if you like a laid back place and have a good time in Argostoli, this is a good pick!

Great hotel, exceptionally comfortable beds and extremely clean. The staff surprised us with the reception, we sat down with a drink, have been given a map of the Island and great useful tips for our stay. Great food and very friendly and helpful staf.

Air con doesn’t work in April, just fan and heat and it’s stuffy. The room and bed are VERY nice, and therefore the 4 stars compared to less because the room circulation. The air on said “when this indicator is on, heat cannot be changed to cold.” It’s a central hotel issue not a room issue. Management wasn’t aware and didn’t know how to fix it. I said that was why I was moving to this hotel and and he assured me their air on worked. It didn’t. What they did do is move me to a different room where it did work. The bed is actual nice and so are the pillows compared to other hard mattress in Greece. Highly recommend the bed. If you run cold, this hotel may be the place for you. 4 stars because they assured me the air on worked and it never did, after moving from another hotel. It may be how things are done in April.
