★ ★ ★ ★ ★ מיקום נחמד, קרוב לים בצפון האי. בית נקי, מסודר ונוח. יש חניה נוחה לרכב. הבריכה נקייה ונעימה. הבעלים היו נחמדים וקשובים לצרכינו.
המחיר קצת יקר לדעתי, מתאים ללינה של עד 4 אנשים והיו קשיים בקליטת ה- WiFi.
 Nice location, close to the sea in the north of the island. A clean, tidy and comfortable house. There is convenient parking for the car. The pool is clean and pleasant. The owners were nice and attentive to our needs.
The price is a bit expensive in my opinion, suitable for up to 4 people and there were difficulties in receiving WiFi.

Già possedimento siceliota al tempo del re Agatocle, dopo la conquista siculo-normanna del XII-XIII secolo entrò a far parte stabilmente della Repubblica di Venezia. Occupata dai francesi per breve periodo, fece parte della Repubblica delle Sette Isole Unite, sotto protettorato russo-ottomano ma a guida veneto-greca. Fu questa la prima esperienza di autogoverno greco (durata 1800-1807), in cui ebbero un ruolo principale i greco-veneti, tra i quali Giovanni Capodistria. Passò quindi al Regno Unito e poi definitivamente alla Grecia (1864).
Lèucade or Leuca (in Greek: Λευκάδα, Lefkàda, in ancient Greek Λευκάς, Leukàs) or, according to the ancient Venetian name, Santa Maura, is one of the Ionian Islands located west of mainland Greece and is the only island Greek that can also be reached without ferry-boats, as it is connected to the mainland by a long causeway and a mobile bridge of about 50 meters.

Flag of the Republic of the Seven United Islands (1800-1807)
Already a Sicilian possession at the time of King Agatocle, after the Sicilian-Norman conquest of the XII-XIII century it became a permanent part of the Republic of Venice. Occupied by the French for a short period, it was part of the Republic of the Seven United Islands, under a Russian-Ottoman protectorate but under Venetian-Greek leadership. This was the first experience of Greek self-government (lasting 1800-1807), in which the Greek-Venetians, including Giovanni Capodistria, had a main role. It then passed to the United Kingdom and then definitively to Greece (1864).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed there for 8 days in June. Nice house, well equipped with large swimming pool. Located in a very windy area but convenient and close to the city of Lefkada. Never cleaned the swimming pool during our stay. Overall experience was satisfactory and highly recommended for family vacations. For sure will visit again in the future.
