We had a lovely 5 day sailing trip in greece. The boat was in very good condition, top notch cleanliness and professional service. We had some special requests which management happily accommodated for us. We loved it and are recommending this to our friends and we hope to come back next year! Thank you AF Yachting!

Dear Sir. Your answer to my husband is not true. You wrote, and I allow my husband to answer: 1)You took the Yacht in excellent condiiton That is part o ftruth. Broken part had significant signs of usage and damages. If anyone is interesting I can send pictures to any interested person to judge it. 2)During your check in you had not remarks on any damages or problems with the yacht The broken part is not visible but mouned and hidden. We also didnt check the engine inside as this is not possible. Moreover if signs of usage were visible, if would be discovered during technical check which we didnt get from 3)You returned the yahct with Damage That is true that the part broke down during our sailing trip. But what we wanted from you was the technical investigation of this part to really varify if the part was used and smashed before but we had a bad luck that it was during our trip. We discussed it during check out wrote in emails about that and had no answer from your side. We also proposed the we can do this examination if you will send us this part by ourselves. 4)You were informed that the damage costs will be deducted from your security deposit as per your signed contract and security deposit contract which was also signed by you No, that i also not true - during checkout we were informed that somebody will come to us to discuss financial part and nobody came. The information was send leter to our charter agency about the price of new part. We were very open to discuss and pay but acordingly to our fault. And as you know the part broke during normal sail which we informed during check out. In the whole email conversation you didn't answer any of our request - examination of broken part and real payment even the whole amount if that would be clear that was our fault. 5) we provided you with the cost and invoice for the repair on which you clearly saw that the cost was even greater than the security deposit that you provided That is also not true = we get an invoice from owner for the damages during trip issued in december with net amount 2000 EUR (VAT tax is deductable so doesn't count) We didn't get any protocol, any description of made reair and used parts (part itself as you mentioned was a cost os 2500 EUR net plus shipment 90. So how the repair could be on invoice exactly the same as bond that you took from credit card. Anyway I wish the cost of lawyer in Greece wouldn't exceed the amount of the sum you took from credit card, knowing that we don't agree with it. Frankly it would be easy money for that lawyer - it would be enough to check the yacht was repaired with smaller costs as it was chartered for next two weeks. And it was possible ot make repair later in December. I think that opinion and remark is justified and not caused of the reason as you wrote "we don't want to pay", but we don't want and in normal countries we should pay for the damages that we caused and not we had bad luck that we pay for torn and used parts earlier. We checked also guarantee that gives shipyard for this part. It is 2 years and yacht Skiron is trice old as this. Anyway - I hope that this opinion will prevent others form finding themselves in the same situation. Best regards and not see you as I will never again charter in your company as you forced us to pay acordngly to our fault, you answer with a lot of not true and stated that we want to pay but actually ommiting several important things and our will to settle this thing in correct and honest way. Giving us Bad remarks cause you do not wish to pay for the damages that were palced on your charter on the yacht it is trully undeserved Wish you all the best Best Regards

WARNING!! Don’t book with these people. They have no interest in ensuring that you have a good experience. They just want to take the money and then get the boat ready for the next chapter. We had a dreadful experience and found AF Yachting to be unhelpful and unprofessional. There are plenty of good charter companies around so do yourself a favour and look elsewhere!

I definitely do not recommend chartering a yacht with this company! We had a charter in October 2021. During our cruise at sea suddenly the rudder stopped working - finally it turned out that underdeck rudder connector had broken. After arriving back to Athens/Alimos, we examined this part together with AF Yachting representative- it's condition was very bad. There was no way to check the condition of such part before initial boarding - it's simply under deck and it's not a part standard of examination during yacht check in. Nobody checks such parts during check in (same when you rent a car, you don't check particular engine components) ! This case is under investigation by our lawyers including highly questionable invoice that AF Yachting presented us for repair/part replacement. There are many yacht charter companies in Greece - my advise - please avoid AF Yachting.

Highly recommend this charter! The owner of the boat (Helia 44) was very communicative for months ahead of our trip over email and answered a million questions we had. When we arrived at the dock, he met us at the boat, showed us around, and introduced us to the skipper and the hostess, who were INCREDIBLE! I can't imagine having better crew mates for our weeklong trip through the Aegean. They were friendly, extremely knowledgeable, excellent guides, and professional through and through -- they even taught us a bit about sailing! It was really a magical trip. We also had perfect weather which doesn't hurt. Two notes to potential bookers: (1) you need to take into account travel time back to the marina when you're planning your itinerary. They need to turn over the boat on Saturday morning which means you really need to be back Friday evening, unless you're docking *really* close to the port and your skipper is willing to sail at sunrise... but probably not worth it. Everything within an hour or two of the marina is basically metropolitan Athens anyway. (2) you need to be flexible to account for a million factors that are totally out of everyone's control: bad weather, full marinas, issues with refueling, the list is endless. Listen to your captain -- they are professionals and know what they're doing and will make sure you get the most out of your trip and your time

The company seemed reliable and good until we arrived in the marina. We were supposed to get our boat at 5pm but when we arrived at 4.30pm the owners were still on it. 1 hour late for check in etc, but until then that’s fine. The boat itself was pretty ok. The water tank did not work half of the week for no reason, it was definitely full but nothing got out. However when we came back, that’s where I thought I was going to explode. We come back on Friday evening after a horrible day at sea with heavy waves and strong winds. We were exhausted and when we arrived the owners (and not the boat renter) was here to check up everything. When we rent a boat from Saturday to Saturday it is not to have company when we come back on Friday evening. It was a very invading moment that I did not like at all.

During 23-30.04.2022 we sailed a chartered skiron boat from AF YACHTING. The boat was very well prepared for charter and the gentlemen from the staff know what to do to make it professional. I hope that next year we will also ride SKYRON. Warm greetings to AF YACHTING staff. ‼️

Third time in sailing in Greece and second time chartering. We had a superb experience with AF Yachting! I was looking for a 2020 42 to 50 foot or newer monohull sailing boat. I spoke with Dimitris in Alimos and he recommended me a Beneteau 46.1… Bullseye !...She proved exactly what we were looking for… neither too big nor too small ! VERY large cockpit ! When we got onboard I was immediately impressed by the condition of this yacht. I looked at the 80 Hp Yanmar diesel motor and it looked very clean and very well maintained. All the safety and electronic equipment is new and much more than you need. The sails also looked very good. And the lines and sheets were in perfect condition. And plenty of big fenders keeping the hull looking new. As a seafarer, I never leave to chance anything when at sea. I fully understand the constant work and attention needed to keep a vessel in good condition with all systems/rigging working perfectly. I was very impressed with the condition of the boat. The check in and orientation by Kostas and his team in Lefkada marina was thorough and professional. He was always available to answer any question and was knowledgeable. I kept in contact with Kostas in Lefkada during the period we were onboard sending him photos when I wanted to ask something and letting him know how everything was going. An unforgettable experience….priceless… The checkout on Saturday was quick, friendly, thorough and professional. Thank you Alexandros and Dimitris and your excellent team at Lefkada Marina for such a wonderful week of sailing in the magnificent Ionian islands.
