Willkommen im Paradies! Wir waren zu sechst (3 Pärchen) für 10 Tage in der oberen Villa (Irida) - und sind nach wie vor absolut begeistert. Die Villa lässt so gut wie keine Wünsche übrig. Handtücher, Geschirr, diverse Küchengeräte, Messer und sonstiges ist alles vorhanden). Jedes Zimmer besitzt ein eigenes Badezimmer sowie jeweils eine Klimaanlage. Bei gut 30 Grad ein echter Segen. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin (Maria) lief ohne Probleme ab. Sie ist sehr nett und antwortet innerhalb weniger Minuten via WhatsApp. Vorab haben wir einige Tipps zur Anreise, Unternehmungen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe erhalten. Bei Fragen konnten wir uns jederzeit an sie wenden. Zum Empfang gab es eine kleine Auswahl an griechischen/kretischen Produkten - sehr liebevoll! Einige Punkte die man beachten sollte: Die Lage ist recht hügelig. Wir hatten eigentlich vor uns mit dem Bus zu bewegen. Es sind jedoch rund 1,5km bergauf (!) bis zur nächsten Haltestation. Ein Mietauto ist daher sehr zu empfehlen, welches wir dann auch genutzt haben. Es gibt keine Mülltonnen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Mülltüten müssen kurz vor der Ausfahrt auf die Nationalstraße entsorgt werden. Etwas mühselig, dafür hat man aber auch nicht den Geruch in der Nähe der Unterkunft. Alles halb so wild - wir haben die meiste Zeit im riesigen Pool verbracht und die Sonne sowie Aussicht genossen. Bis nach Heraklion sind es gut 20min, nach Rethymnon ca. 1 Stunde. Zusammengefasst - absolut zu empfehlen. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub. Wer eine Unterkunft für 6 Personen (oder auch für 2 in der kleinen Villa) sucht, ist hier sehr sehr gut aufgehoben.

Was wünscht man sich mehr ?! Absolut zu empfehlen! Top modern, gut ausgestattet (Handtücher, Bettwäsche, Küchengeräte, Staubsauger, Wäscheständer usw) und ein toller Ausblick! Alle Schlafzimmer haben ein eigenes Bad mit Dusche und Toilette. Überall sind Klimaanlagen mit smarter Steuerung. Die Terrasse und der Pool sind riesig und wunderschön. Bei Wind können vereinzelt Gräser in den Abfluss gelangen, dies stellt jedoch kein Problem dar, man kann sie einfach entfernen. Der Kontakt zu Maria ist sehr freundlich und verlässlich. Sie ist immer erreichbar, gibt Tipps und erledigt auch Telefonate und Recherchen, wenn gewünscht. Sehr angenehm! Mit dem Auto braucht man ca 20-25min bis nach Heraklion, 1h30 min bis zur Südküste, 2h30min bis an die Westküste und fast 3h bis an die Ostküste. Wer sich die Insel anschauen möchte, hat somit einen idealen Ausgangspunkt.

Just excellent! Three days this September with excellent view, excellent villa, excellent hospitality! We' ll visit again next summer for sure!

I had booked the object from 12.10.2021-19.10.2021. There were several incidents/restrictions that significantly limited my holiday stay. 13.10.2021 In the afternoon, water permanently ran from a pipe over our house entrance onto our terrace. Effect: Terrace could not be used for several hours 15.10.2021 - 18.10.2021 On 14.10.2021 it rained again and again and in the evening there was a thunderstorm. Effect: The pool was so dirty that it could not be used for two days. On Monday 18.10.2021 there was still sand at the bottom of the pool. 12.10.2021 - 18.10.2021 Guests with their children from the two other houses use our entrance path and terrace to access a bay below. Impact: Disturbance of our privacy 16.10.2021 - 17.10.2021 During the night of 10/16 - 10/17/2021 there were loud and erratic squeaking noises that continued into the morning. Impact: My wife and I could hardly sleep. What else was noticeable: - I had asked in advance whether overflying aircraft/aircraft noise was to be expected. The answer was that this was not known. Aircraft flew over the complex and our house in the mornings and evenings. - Sockets by the bed for reading lamps do not work. - The rubbish has to be taken to the village in your own vehicle and disposed of in a rubbish bin. There is no possibility to dispose of the rubbish on the premises. - No possibility to hang up the bath towels in the bathroom. - No way to protect the cushions for the sun loungers, sofa and armchairs from rain and wind unless you take them into the flat. - A hoover for cleaning the flat is just standing around in the flat. All the incidents/restrictions were discussed on site with Maria Kiourktsoglou and the caretaker Lily. Both were very friendly and tried to solve the problems. The argument was always that the facility has only been in operation for 6 months. However, for the price I paid, I am not a guinea pig!
