Positive: Friendly staff. Clean room and facilities.. Negative: Wifi was not working at all. TV had serious troubles, we needed to switch on and off to unfreeze the screen..

The rooms are beautiful and cozy, very clean and organized, with wi-fi, air-condition, a safe, mosquito net on every window and door, a balcony with patio furniture and even a hanger to dry your swimsuits. The hotel does not offer food or coffee, but they provide you with a coffeemaker and some coffee, fridge (empty, with only a bottle of cold water, to store your products), toaster, plates, cups and cutlery, and even soap and sponge for the dishes. In the bathroom there were little shampoos and conditioners, and of course toilet paper. The room had a closet, extra pillows in case you needed, and mosquito repellent (we did not need it, but it was good to know it was there). A small downside is that the room we stayed had two beds pushed together instead of a double, but as it turns out it didn't bother us that much. Plus, we called at the last minute, so it was the last room they had; i'm sure if you make reservations sooner you can request one double bed. We only stayed one night (our last on the island), so i do not know what the cleaning service is like or how often, but judging from the state they gave us the room, it must be good! The hotel is not in an idyllic location, it is near Myrina (the main town/village of the island), but by foot is about 20 minutes, and if you take your car it's very difficult to find a parking space, espacially on the afternoons. Plus at night (we like staying out until 2-3 am) and it is very dark, and unfrequented; to be honest i was a little scared to walk there at night, even though we never saw anything weird. it's just a little spooky not seing another soul walking by..! When it comes to beaches, we take the car anyway, so it doesn't make a difference for us. There are pretty good beaches nearby but they are not THE BEST in the island, so if you have a vehicle i would recommend driving to another one (there are many nearby). That said from a person with pretty high standards when it comes to the beach, so if you are not that picky, or do not have a vehicle, the beaches of Myrina are pretty decent, just not the best! Bottom line, if it were closer to town we would stay there without a second thought, but we like being at a walking distance form the village, without melting from the heat or being spooked at night; so when we come back we will have to weigh everything before deciding. If you do not have the same problem, i totally recommend it!

Positive: Early morning we spotted two deer with impressive sets of horns from our balcony. Staff were very helpful with extra needs, including medical contacts and translation assistance.. Negative: The view from the room we stayed in (#22) could be much improved by cutting down a dead tree and replacing it with a shrub that hides the view of the dumpsters..

Positive: The staff called and arranged a taxi to collect us to and from the airport. They were helpful and very welcoming, even though we checked in at midnight. The room had a terrace, was very clean and everything we needed. It is a quiet and peaceful. In walking distance to a beautiful beach. Highly recommend.

Second year at Aphrodite. Very welcoming host, super conditions. Reasonable rates. But especially a reliable location. They have not decreased compared to last year. I will definitely return. I recommend!

Fantastic location, close to a great beach and pretty much everything in Myrina is within walking distance including convenience stores. Great value for money, the room was clean, quiet and fully equipped. Easy to find parking space in the area and the staff was amazing. I couldn't recommend it more. ?
